If they could encourage it at the countries level that would be nice too.

Some German and NL public services have Mastodon accounts IIRC, that's a first step.

It's the Reddit community, juste block it if you don't want to see it

Where are you located?

LinkedIn.

It's one of the last social media I have. Benefits outweigh cons, but I still would like to get rid of it

Looking forward seeing them!

Edit: Your last sentence is just... so negative for no reason?

From the sidebar:

A community focused on discussions on movies and TV shows.

It's called movies as hopefully at some point in the future we'll have TV shows split, but as Lemmy still has a small community it makes sense to consolidate both types of content here

Feel free to post your own content, seems more constructive

Okay so it seems like they only unlocked it using a LW account, only allowing LW accounts to post: https://lemmy.world/post/24481336

The difference is up and down, not left and right

Small advertising for !parenting@lemmy.world

Thanks for providing an actual answer

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leslie_Nielsen for people who didn't know him

I haven't used Google in a while, DuckDuckGo indexes them okay, SearX too

Maybe that's why it's still locked

Who is that?

That's a quite good idea

Thanks for sharing

Email works the same. rick@gmail.com and rick@outlook.com are probably different people

There is !casualconversation@lemm.ee for positive or at least neutral conversation.

If you see too much negativity here, you are probably hanging out in toxic communities.

I saw your last post about Kaspersky on the Piracy community, sorry to see the comments you got.

Each community has its own vibe and moderation policy. A few of them are quite toxic, a few are very nice, the rest is in between.
