!fedibridge@lemmy.dbzer0.com if you want to help promote Lemmy Piefed Mbin to new users!
Those mods are just lost. The whole debacle when they tried to move the community to LW was a mess. !fediverselore@lemmy.ca for people interested.
Long live !onehundredninetysix@lemmy.blahaj.zone

People might stay there more than on Lemmy. Pixelfed seems in a better shape than how Lemmy was during summer 2023, with the constant DDoS on Lemmy.world and the language bugs preventing comments...

Curious choice
More specifically, trying to migrate my project to another instance before .ee shuts down would be a herculean task AFAIK, especially with my having significant new health issues recently.
I can help with that, if needed. I'm going to have to migrate my own communities in the coming weeks, so I can help with yours too.

Congrats to @Demigodrick@lemmy.zip, seems like the transparency and the great monthly reports (https://lemmy.zip/post/39959863) paid back!
What’s something you wish it had? What can our community do to ensure that we keep pulling users away from US tech companies, and into the fediverse?
One of the biggest issue at this point is probably the registration experience. There are quite a few occurrences on !fedibridge@lemmy.dbzer0.com of users not sure whether their email has been validated or not, and at the moment they really need to look out for the toastify notification on their first try, later attempts won't show it.
Most recent example: https://lemmy.ml/...
If there could be a way to inform a user saying "your email address has been validated, please wait for an administrator to activate your account, you can reach out to them at xxx", that would be great.

!196@lemmy.world probably did the biggest power tripping move since the creation of Lemmy with their failed attempt at migrating from blahaj to LW without asking the community first.
I wouldn't spend too much time investigating this, !onehundredninetysix@lemmy.blahaj.zone is a much better community
thanks for using Leebra!
