I was resistant to the federverses, but these corpos just think they can get away with anything...

Fuck them I won't do what they tell me!

It will be fun to watch this place grow, it feels like the start of a new story!

Any time you feel the urge to open reddit, make a post on Lemmy...

It might take a minute, but this will be the new exciting place if we keep at it.

I'm actually kind of excited to start fresh, I have been working to break out of the loops I have been in after noticing every day is just feeling a repeat.

I accidently ended up on Reddit twice today through Google searches, I'm now adding -Site:Reddit.com to all my searches.

If we build it they will come...

Ya' it almost sounds almost like a way to pretend they are removing questionable content while still leaving it accessable.

Makes sense, I was overthinking it..

Listenin to Black Stacey now...

Lemmey got me nostalgic for an earlier era...

Subbed, I wouldn't be surprise if Trent was floating around here somewhere with how deeply he seemed to be into the newer experimental internet shit back when...

Myspace still exists too... ;)

Nice, I'd try some better titles though...

Would not go well, dedicated mods that have experience , have a tough enough time, given all the pitfalls...

Throw some randos in and it will be interesting to watch how well they do, and for how long.

No way, ronaldjenkees! Is that you?

Its starting to feel like the earlier days of the internet already!

I had to open up my old MP3 collection and bump Ain't no Thang and Derty...

Gonna have to check out more of his newer stuff, I hadn't though of him for a minute.

Here is an early version of Dirty I found on his channel.

I'm not sure why this comment was removed..

All he did was say he felt bad for DJ Shaddow having released his most acclaimed work so early in his career.

Maybe I shouldn't be a part of this sub...

Sounds like something an ad would say... Hmmm?

Nice!

Makes sense, most people buy DP tend to know more about specs and stuff, that would make crappy stuff riskier.

Dude is so good at conveying emotion, its captivating...

I never saw his Tiny Desk Concert appearance on NPR, I'm watchin it now its amazing!
