Really appreciating that a lot of help and guides are provided for newer users. That whole fediverse thing can be a bit overwhelming if you are starting to tinker around with it.
Wow what a cheap way to get a avatar that tells everyone you are a nice target for scams.
In my country its a law that the "price per weight" has to be on the tag. It may vary which unit they are using but with the metric system its just a matter of moving the comma.
Damn the seagull would be a perfect match for the state of russia
Yeah there will never be a perfect middleway. Either you have a lot of small kingdoms where sometimes some of them go rogue or you got one big one where the Leaders literally rule the whole place.
I think feddiverse will be the better option in the long run after some things get tweaked a bit more.
Yep. all these thing have been told lots of times allready but not by everyone.
Not trying to argue with you as you are correct as far as i see it....
Having a whitelist federation List would be worse in my opinion cause it would effectively kill the whole "everyone can start his own small instance". It would be a whole lot of work if every small instance has to get approval from the bigger instances to federate with them. And for the bigger instances to process all applications for federation.
I played modern warfare II for the first time some weeks ago. It really took me some time to find where the campaign can be started. a whole bunch of ads for Season pass, dlc bundle and other shit filled the whole screen. IDK about the multiplayer but the campaign was pretty lackluster. 2/10 wouldnt play again ^^
Are you sure about that? I understood it the way that the defederation works in both directions.
You cant see the content from the other instance and they cant see yours.
Got a bit of "aboringdystopia" vibes...the fake grass and curvy walkways
Kbin user here...
I think karma in relation to up/down vote of posts is a good thing.
The total karma of an account isnt interesting for me, but other users may be more interested in it.
Best solution in my opinion would be if it is handled instance based. If one instance decides to show the total karma of a user its ok for them another instance might decide to not show the total karma or even completely hide up/downvotes.
So every user can find an instance that alligns with his view on this matter.
ok thx. I blocked it throught ublock Origin now but that only works on firefox, not on mobile...
we got that bullshit over here too. And when google said they gonna stop linking to newssites the sites cryed „monopoly“ and asked politicans to forbid google to do that. So they want to force google to provide them customers and pay them to do it. I dont like how google does many things but that is just ridiculous
Well our dog wouldnt see it as a reward if he gets a bath after chasing off a bear. But the treats would be graciously accepted.
What is the big step about shutting down a 1 week old account?
No pictures?
On reddit a lot of bigger topics had mor than one subreddit for example games, gaming and so on. Give it some time and a lot of it will condense into communitys with bigger userbases
As far as i understood it these are two completely different communitys. But im still trying to wrap my head around the whole fediverse thing…
Your are right but thats the same as in many other IPOS. If you buy shares from a company you have to inform yourself where you spend your money.
thanks for using Leebra!
