Sodium batteries have considerably less energy density than lithium, at least at the moment. They're best for stationary use such as solar and grid backup, not for portable devices. Not really even a good fit for EVs yet.
The myriad of reasonably priced unofficial batteries on eBay and AliExpress.
Yeah, this feels like extreme price gouging. I generally like what iFixit does, their toolkits are great and I've bought Steam Deck parts in the past (a replacement fan when mine got noisy). However, if they're going to participate in price gouging I'm done with them. There's no reason a Steam Deck sized battery should ever be even close to $180, and given how numerous third party options are, there's zero reason to pay that price for an "official" one. It's a battery, it's as generic of a component as it gets. Sure, it has a charge controller, but so do the third party ones. It's a custom shape, but that's probably just two standard sized cells taped together. If the shape were a real problem the third party ones wouldn't be any cheaper.
You can run postmarketOS on Fairphone 5 and 6 AFAIK.
These all have available versions for 1.0rc3 and pipeline versions of OpenRGB:
Which plugin are you referring to? I have taken up official maintenance of these:
If you're using OpenRGB 1.0rc3, you need the 1.0rc2 version of the plugins, which is available on openrgb.org or Codeberg. If you're using pipeline OpenRGB, you need pipeline plugins.
At that point just get an unofficial replacement, they're $40-50 on eBay right now. The iFixit partnership is nice, but if they're just going to inflate prices then they're not doing anyone the service they think they're doing. I've generally liked iFixit and I like their toolkits, but if they aren't going to be competitive with pricing then don't buy from them.
IE was the first unusable browser
Even if you do need GPIO, Arduinos and similar microcontrollers have avoided the price insanity plaguing things that use discrete RAM, so just buy a cheap microcontroller and use it for GPIO paired with an old PC or mini PC.
If only the people who drove them for legitimate work purposes owned them, even as their only vehicle, it would be a huge number off the roads.
How do they know you haven't trained an AI to get headshots? The cheats often break the bounds of what is realistic in games, whether it is allowing you to see through walls (server shouldn't be sending enemy positions that aren't in view), going too fast (server should speed check pplayer positions), getting items they shouldn't have (server should do inventory sanity checks), etc. Other than that, look for signs of automated movement/things unrealistically precise for a human to do. Eventually the cheating will just be moved to a separate air gapped computer running AI on the video feed. Client side is an invasive, broken, and malicious concept.
I'm happy with my slightly modded Ender 3 Pro, but if I ever upgrade the Snapmaker U1 looks nice. I'll only buy from a company that supports open source firmware. Bambu is trash, unfortunately every 3D printing related YouTuber seems to have happily taken a sponsorship from them so they are everywhere now. I hate it.
I fail to see where the comment you replied to had any concern whatsoever for the business environment.
God fucking damn it. Fuck off with the anticheat bullshit. Fucking plague is destroying gaming. If the whiny tryhards want "cOmP3Tit1v3 int3grIteE" or whatever dumb excuse the devs pulled out their ass this time then just make RANKED mode locked behind this malware-powered prison shit. Don't ruin the game for everyone. The majority of the player base isn't whining about cheaters, and this is true of pretty much every game. It's the tryhard comp scene most affected, let them enable it to play comp. At least give us the option to play on non anticheat servers. I hate how every multiplayer game is ruining itself over this garbage.
Maybe even 128GB of RAM.
I was never able to touch type up through middle of high school despite typing papers and taking formal typing courses. Once I got into online PC gaming and also programming I got good at touch typing very fast. Is typing a skill you use daily? Natural practice beats forced if you already have the fundamentals down. QWERTY for me.
Why can't they put the power button on the front where it belongs. It's already stupid that they put it on the back, putting it on the bottom is downright idiotic. If they don't want to mess up the oh so important Apple aesthetic just make it an invisible touch button or something. Apple hates usability.
ALL AI is slop Jensen... There is no AI without the slop. They are one and the same.
This Android Translation Layer looks amazing for Linux phones. Waydroid is already pretty awesome, but it's just running full fat Android on top of your Linux system and has all the limitations that brings (poor to no notification integration with the host system, poor integration of filesystem, extra resource usage for all of the Android services, issues with power management and suspend, inability to change resolution on the fly, poor integration with host onscreen keyboard, etc). I've used Waydroid on postmarketOS and it's nice to be able to have Android apps available, but it almost feels like still carrying around a second phone, just that second phone is virtual. Something like ATL sounds like it properly integrates Android apps into the host OS. I need to give this a try soon.
The more I hear about Louis Rossman and Futo the less I trust either of them. I used to like Louis for his right to repair conversations, but Futo is a very shady organization. They act like they promote open source but refuse to adopt actual FOSS licensing and try to be overly corporate while also trying to play the pro-consumer side. I don't like it. There are YouTube frontends made by actual FOSS developers with proper FOSS licenses, so I'm not sure why anyone should support or use Grayjay.
thanks for using Leebra!
