Quick note to anyone looking for an app for Lemmy on Android, if you open lemmy.world (not sure about other instances) in Chrome, click the 3 dots and select "install app" and the website will be installed as a webapp on your device and it works very well.

Also if you're on iOS I believe this functionality is coming in the next update around September.

Wow, yeah, turns out PWAs have been available on iOS for a while now and push notifications were added earlier this year. Not sure how I missed that. Thanks for the info.
