I think it can get much worse.

LLMs are smart in the way someone is smart who has read all the books and knows all of them but has never left the house. Basically all theory and no street smarts.

It might be because I was young when I read Harry Potter, but the whole series was magical for me exactly because of stuff like this.

Reddit is pretty nice as a source of information, but mostly on smaller and more obscure things, not big political topics like US elections.. that's what the last year has taught me, at least.
