Kind of like the reddit Sekrit Santa shutting down. It was huge, really hard to run, and the volunteers all agreed to stop.
I vaguely remember reading at the time a lot of users went there only for the exchanges and didn't use any other part of reddit.
Yes. The industry standards are:
Solo narration: pretty much self-explanatory.
Dual: used primarily in romance. Each narrator voices everything in the chapter that is their POV. Chapters alternate.
Duet: Alternating POV. The narrator voices all narrative, AND their dialogue in all chapters. When POV switches, so does the narrator, who then does all dialogue for their gender.
Multicast: I use this a LOT when narrating RH (reverse harem). So the FMC does narrative and their dialogue, and all other roles are cast for dialogue only. I had one with 14 narrators. Totally like herding cats, but fun.
Immersive: this is your Graphic Audio/ Soundbooth Theater style. Sfx, music, etc. I will be playing Elle McGib in the upcoming Dungeon Crawler Carl fullcast audio.
As someone who sees it on.both sides, it's horrendously clunky, and users see FAR too little of the good indie authors in any genre.
I love posts where people discover a new author to share, but I don't count on Amazon to recommend it to me.
It's YA, so only kissing. Absolutely great rewrite of fairy tales. Book 1 in Cinderella, 2 is Red Riding hood, 3 (Cress) is Rapunzel, and 4 is Snow White.
Normally I am a steam queen. Did not have a problem with YA its so well written.
thanks for using Leebra!
