Ich bezweifle mittlerweile, dass Wasser noch hilft. Noch eine Woche unter diesen Bedingungen halte ich nicht aus. Holt mich hier raus!
@lemmy.world
Perhaps it surprises you but a lot of people are such oil brained corpo shills they cannot fathom not burning the planet down to the ground. They call free energy ideologically driven in an obvious attempt at projection.
Which is to say that sadly a lot of people would never guess importing fossil fuels just to burn them might be a terrible idea actually.
Won‘t stop the tidal wave of heat pump installations though because most people actually like saving money.
Stealing stuff while making it actually open source seems like a really fast way to get bombarded with lawsuits. Rest assured, they will only make it open weights and steal all the stuff!
It almost looks like it‘s designed to fail. Probably all of those billionaires will be richer by the end of the year this tax comes into effect. Meanwhile the money raised from it won‘t be enough to solve all that many issues. It‘s not really supposed to but billionaires and their outlets will keep telling us how „taxing the rich was tried and failed!!!“ Mark my words.
precious arch user repository
I think you vastly overestimate the importance of AUR. A lot of Arch users had to say something about the incident and many of them didn‘t even use it. It‘s definitely nothing essential.
Also Arch users still don‘t give a fuck about Windows. This whole AUR debacle has little to do with what OP was actually getting at.
It‘s definitely not only faceless channels but people who just sit there and talk into a mic as well. And I wouldn‘t mind this as much if it actually hit react slop too but that genre is pretty much untouched by this algorithm. Probably because there‘s enough stuff happening in a react video, but I can only guess.
Anyway, you can add Youtube to the never ending list of things that got worse because of AI.
What Korean piracy? Virtually everyone uses music streaming services with a payout so bad you might as well pirate the songs and almost their entire gaming industry is live service.
I mean webtoons? Seriously? Good luck. Enshitify webtoons with your legislation and watch people migrate to platforms that don‘t cost anything or plays ads all the time. If you want to make (more) money with webtoons alone you‘re just going to lose readers. And that is assuming you can fight piracy in this case. You really can‘t.
Germany‘s population is projected to shrink this year as slowing migration can‘t make up for low birth rates anymore. It’s also likely more german young adults will migrate elsewhere due to low demand of young workers domestically. I suspect the trend is similar in many EU countries. This will only worsen the problem. We‘re destroyed by hate and selfishness, not migration.
I‘m pretty sure the Netherlands are still near the top in global rankings when it comes to equality. I would guess it‘s much worse in most countries. But it‘s a mostly capitalistic world and being poor is expensive. Everywhere.
It‘s kind of insane how heavily they abuse the legal system as a tool of intimidation for how openly they distrust it. I‘m aware losing these cases are part of their strategy but still. They‘re unbelievably pathetic.
thanks for using Leebra!
