Could you possibly give an ELI5 on what this Tankie stuff is?

Has anybody tried using yt-dlp or similar to download shows from ITV/C4? I know it works with the iplayer.

Not sure currently. It was definitely being discussing in r/torrents before reddit went tits up.

Could you give us some insight into how much bandwidth up/down your instance is using? Thanks for posting your server specs. I'm tempted to self host an instance when I finally get a gigabit connection in the next few months.

It's a piece of piss and I'm not exaggerating. Just make sure you read the rules etc.

When I'm browsing "All" I'll get half way down the page and it'll start federating/updating from another instance. Is there a way to set this to only happen on refresh? It a bit of a pain when your feed is regularly quickly expanding from the top. It makes scrolling a pita.

r7 5700g, b450(bios updated) motherboard, 128gb you could probably get for ~£300.

So I'm logged into dbzer0 and I've managed to subscribe to ELI5 on kbin. When I go to https://kbin.social/m/ELI5 I can see posts etc but when I try to access the page from dbzer0 it's not showing any posts or subscribers, what gives?

My dude, could you pass it on please?

I have a keychron k8. It's lovely. I've not used the bluetooth on it yet, but it's there when I need it.

Has anybody tried this out yet? If so what's your experience been?
