Huh, I didn't realize that having one of my comments removed by moderator would make it so that I couldn't even see what I wrote, unless it's just my client. Fair enough though, your rules and such.

It just seems incredibly foolish to me to be one of the politicians that's contributing to the sort of irrational fear that would lead to that kind of a response and then go door to door knocking on the doors of people who may have that fear and response, in a place where that has happened to delivery drivers and wrong turn drivers, but I suppose foolish and arrogant is a prerequisite to running for his office.

I wonder how much of the gender divide just comes from social conditioning. Most women I know have been told from a young age to plan to grow their family and add people to a household, but most of the guys are expected to just exist until it's time and to then find a house big enough for (???) people. That being said, I think 2-Bed/2-Bath is the sweet spot for most people.

2b/2b (or 1.5 bathrooms) hits a sweet spot because it can give you/a spouse a private bedroom and bathroom, a separate bathroom for guests or a child/spouse to use, and a second room that can be a bedroom, guestroom, office or hobby room. It's also a layout that can work well at 900-1100 sqft, especially if it's not a ranch layout with a hallway eating usable space.

It looks like they are stamped HT, so I'd assume they are heat treated? I hope so because I'm loading up a bunch of pallets labeled the same...

I think I'd rather kill myself than become a Republican, if I was forced to pick one tbh. My empathy for the common struggle of regular people working to simply live quiet lives is like a core part of what I am, I can't imagine myself without it. I'm not perfect by any means, and I've got some contradictions and biases, but like holy shit I don't know if you could cut that out of my brain without killing me in the process.

Now this is a 20R Toyota I'd do borderline illegal things to own. This would be worth spending some money on. I'd probably swap in a 22R, or even EV swap it

2UZ-FE V8, could probably push it to a million miles.

The restriction on suppressors was bogus anyways, now all of my leftie homies can save their ears easier without needing to be on an extra government list.

Actually has the 2UZ-FE V8, so this thing with 500K miles is still like new.

It looks shorter than most 5th wheel/gooseneck travel trailer heights, and honestly might not be that hard on efficiency because the hull shape might help it cut through the air. A truck like that will probably end up getting the same economy more or less full versus empty anyways

My personal one

IIRC Pushback against "Unsafe at any speed" was the literal origin of the conservative think tank as a political movement. I think Behind the Bastards did an episode on it or maybe Stuff you missed in history class?

When all's said and done, I'd rather have proof that ICE ignored 1000 orders than only ignored 10 and nobody challenged the other 990. It's not one or the other, we can still use the court systems to create a trail of accountability while we also work to dismantle the systems being put in place to ignore the courts. As flawed and incomplete as the Nuremberg trials were, they only made it as far as they did because so much was documented by people who thought they'd never be held accountable for their actions. Every ignored court order is the chance to punish someone when they are no longer in power.

And besides, even if they only obey one out of every ten, that's still worth the effort when the alternative is just not trying because people don't think it'll work.

And the general destruction of the middle class. My parents were teen parents and while it was tough, they could afford it. I can't afford a kid at all, and I've worked my ass off.

But yeah, stress, depression, fear, anger, chemical and hormonal imbalances, climate change, fascism, overworked and underpaid bs, attacks on bodily autonomy, surveillance and tracking, the death of 3rd places, the poverty of free time, unaffordable housing, unaffordable transportation, hours-long commutes, staggering wealth inequality, state violence, white nationalists endless wars, etc... I don't blame anybody for putting off or entirely deciding against having children

It's because they're offering easy answers to complicated problems. No one wants to listen to me explain for 45 minutes why something is an issue that dates back three decades and will probably require three more decades of fixing, they just want to feel good now.
