I do a lot of firewood processing, so the DeWalt battery powered 8 in. chainsaw has been great. Don't need to spin up a big gas saw for little branches.

A more general answer: used cars. My most recent two car purchases were off craigslist and have been great bang for the buck. I see no reason to buy a new car ever again.

I'm not sure pro-AI is a right wing stance. I live in a deeply red rural county, and just today, at the board of supervisors meeting, they voted on an immediate moratorium on new data center construction (note: we currently have none). The past weeks have seen a litany of residents speak out against data centers, most of whom I would assume are MAGA or MAGA-adjacent.

Cars in some ways are too coddling, giving people a false sense of safety. All these new features like lane keeping and blind spot warnings make people drive with reckless abandon.

I mean.... if you spend $28 everyday on lunch, that's $7000 a year, or 10% of your gross income if you make $70k, which is actually a huge amount of money to spend on lunch.
