Being hit =/= shipwreck. From what I've heard, it got hit with something like Shaheed drone. So it did some damage, yes, but not "instasink" damage. Just enough to spook the crew into relocation

Why would they? Judging from the internet, a lot of people actually enjoy this "aesthetics". Not to mention the politics

Glasco claims: "A lot of us devs were appalled because it felt like political propaganda being pushed by Activision."

Oh yes, because CoD is famously not doing any political propaganda whatsoever, nosireebob

In WW2 in the western front. How was the treatment of, say, Baltic fleet soviet sailors, hmmmmmmmm?

Vaguely, yeah. That was, what, twenty years ago? Twenty five maybe? Had I known what I now know about the world, I'd be outraged anyway

As opposed to all the other years after 1945 when USA ruled by being nice and kind, huh?

disdain and contempt for international law, making clear that Washington will accept no restraints on the ruthless assertion of its imperialist interests, whether through trade war, assassinations, regime-change operations or global war.

As opposed to every other US president?

So they basically admit their entire business model relies on abusing workers in precarious positions?

Oh wow so those shitty myths about Soviets were projection! And here I thought they were just propaganda. Like clockwork

If that kills that goddamn brain dead "brrt" meme, I will officially proclaim this to be a positive effect of this war

Yes. If I may, I would suggest "The origins of family and private property" from Engels. It's not explicitly political, but I find it serves excellently for dissolving some biases towards historical conditions and how they shape the current affairs.

Get one assembled, from a bike shop instead of online. You will definitely need service or tuning, and having competent, trustworthy people (ideally, within easy riding range) will save a lot of heart-ache

Luckily there's a shop within a couple bus stops from my home, can even walk there if needed. Thanks for the tips!

Makes me sad to hear this about Sleeping Dogs, because I absolutely loved it. Sometimes I would launch it just for a quick fight club bit because of how much I enjoyed the hand-to-hand fighting mechanics

the Communist Revolution was secretly funded by the West to sabotage the glory of Imperial Russia” is also something I’ve never heard,

Really? "Lenin is a German/British/[insert enemy]" spy has been a conspiracy for decades, pretty much since 1917 itself. It's especially popular in Russia. Putin himself proclaimed that "Lenin has laid a landmine under Russia" in an official speech. I don't know how you haven't heard that one.
