Second for MAM, they're great and well worth the minor trouble to join.

Another vote for Joplin here, but I prefer to host Joplin server for synchronization because it's much faster than NextCloud.

I'll seed it if you want to go that route

Accepting a referral code from someone who is in the closed beta increases your chances of getting invited.

Is this true? I haven't seen this anywhere else

Why don't you recommend Cloudflare?

If you're open to docker options, I've used and recommend ArchiveBox. It supports using a login to rip sites, and you can set it to rip once or on a schedule, etc.

I think they have a desktop app version in the works if you were looking for a more of a one-time approach.

I'm currently playing the GBC game Oracle of Seasons on a PlayStation Vita. It can run everything up through N64 rather well.

Hmm that's not how I interpret it. I think it says " Registered users can refer friends. They also have a chance to join the closed beta." I don't think those two things are related.

Unless I'm missing something. I'm still crossing my fingers that I get in.

I also have an Xperia phone. Were you able to find any other solutions for the recent app button? I'm unwilling to use gesture navigation.

myanonamouse.net, a private tracker that focuses on ebooks and audiobooks, is a pretty good place to get started. Registrations are closed, but twice a week they offer interviews to join. The interview is not hard, you just need to be able to answer a short quiz about the rules.

Once you're in it's really easy to maintain your ratios and there is a lot of freeleach content.

I've found audiobooks there that I can't find anywhere else.

I played this through with my wife and it was one of the few games we could enjoy together. After finishing it we also played A Way Out. I wish there were more experiences like these.

When you join you will be gifted thousands of bonus points by current members, and you can use those points to buy upload credit to pad your ratio. You also earn those credits for seeding based on time, not actual data uploaded.

In addition, there is a ton of freeleach content available, and it's good stuff too.

There are some special steps you have to follow to set up seeding from a VPN, but they have a guide for it and it isn't that complicated. I'm happy to help if you get stuck.

Seconded, and the interview process is not bad, just a few questions about the rules.

Interesting, I'm a fan of RTS gameplay but it's always been much better on PC. I'm excited to check this out.

I'd add that it might be worth checking out the JavaScript console as well (F12 > console in most browsers), in case the problem is with the login page

I've been using Reolink cameras for my local setup and I've been happy with them.

I'm having trouble seeing dnd@lemmy.world through this instance. I'm subscribed to other lemmy.world communities so I'm not sure what the problem is.
