A guy in my work has a work wife, and we always joke they're banging. She retired 4 months ago. He's been off with 'stress' for 3 months and 25 days.

My old dog used to love carrying any stick. He was a black lab. We'd always either give him ridiculously small twigs that barely fit his mouth and he'd be so gentle with, and pleased as punch, or literal fallen trees that he'd drag along as though his life depended on it. He loved them all.
So, you don't want people to be able to legally end their lives because you don't want to? Is it fair to make people suffer in their final months rather than have autonomy?
I don't see the issue. I've watched people fade away and die slowly. It isn't nice. No one wants to see that.
