Replace "server" by "os", "computer" or "software project" and you got me as well.

I agree. While I do like some changes I disklike some others. Though I am very much not angry at Paizo, I don't want to know how difficult it was to find everything potentially copyrighted and then come up with sensible alternatives.

While the beginner box has been mentioned multiple times, i also want to mention the bounties (1-2 hours quests with a little bit of combat and exploration, easily extendible to 3-5 hours if you add some roleplay opportunity before and after) and what I consider bounty 00: torment and legacy. While the former cost you a few bucks (some of them have foundry integration you can buy alternatively) the latter is completely free and is made for people switching the system as far as I remember.

While "torment and legacy" can be easily switched to wherever you want, the bounties are placed in a specific regions on Golarion, e.g. there's one in Nidal having you fight Kuthonists or one in Osirion dealing with a young Sphinx. My group and I tried around some bounties with different pregens until we were ready to build our own characters and found a region for a longer campaign (avistan/golarion is very diverse in terms of settings).

Well yeah but imagine you had to do that on most lines of the code? It would become very distracting imho. If you are in a team with people that have a lot experience and or will learn more anyway this is fine. But if you are in a team with not very good programmers which "will never learn" because they have other stuff to do, you should be careful when using code like this. Though I would prefer in the former of course.

If I was the old man I would start to really question what was up with the bread I fed them.

Not at expert myself - but according to my sources including the German youtuber "Held der Steine" Lego is not the top quality brand. Sure the very cheap ones are likely worse, but e.g. the polish brand "cobi" has as far as I heard better quality (I mostly heard about the difference in colouring though).

I use vscodium for most day to day stuff and vscode for trying out/"sandboxing" specific extensions like github copilot.
