No, bad journalism. This is an important, overlooked, under covered story. I don't particularly care about Thuneberg or her location, but Israel bombing humanitarian aid ships should be much more widely reported.

The party of Identity politics.
People seem to think the Dems are so pro-trans when they don't really do anything. Republicans just come up with random ways to make trans people's lives more difficult for no reason.
I've decided to believe that there was a grueling audition process and he ultimately had to go forward with his second choice.
Conservatism is correlated with a complete lack of empathy. They have trouble understanding other people are sentient beings, let alone equally deserving of freedom. Any problem that doesn't affect them is just a lie made up by evil Others to take away what they rightly deserve, which is everything.
When assessing the bias of an article, look at how it ascribes all of the agency to one party.
Chuck Schumer sounded as if he were relishing his standoff with the Republicans
What Chuck Schumer is doing right now, it’s sickening.”
Democrats are maximizing the leverage they have
Outrage followed from Republicans, who printed out the Senate minority leader’s remark on posters and condemned it
the White House took it upon itself to increase the misery for government employees when Russ Vought, the director of the office of management and budget, began following through on his threat to carry out layoffs.
Notice how Republicans never simply do anything? The one action this article ascribes to Republicans is "following through on his threat".
Republican layoffs are deep inside a complicated sentence, well beneath the fold. But the HEADLINE, is...that the minority party refuses to vote for a bill they didn't get any input into. The fact they weren't allowed any input is unmentioned in the article.
Kitton mittons scientifically necessary. Don't let your car stomp around making so much noise.
Private companies love the heartland and will work out of patriotism even if rural routes are less profitable! 🤡
This is your brain on American exceptionalism. It's kinda funny when people think an organization that practices war crimes across the world wouldn't do so at home. I'd love an explanation about how Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay happen when soldiers would never follow an illegal or immoral order.
Police kill Americans every day. The National Guard has killed Americans before. Maybe the military won't be called in to kill Americans, but I think people saying "The military would never kill Americans" really mean "I would never kill Americans". American citizens were killed by drone strike without anyone batting an eye.
How many right wing militiamen are ex military? Does anyone really believe there are no White Supremacists in the military? Probably most of the military wouldn't fire on Americans, but anyone who thinks there are zero service members just itching to murder people needs to read more history.
IT crowd is about nerds for nerds. Big Bang theory is about nerds for non nerds. "Nerd blackface" is more succinct though.
Generally, the main problem with being "far left" is being ridiculed for being right earlier than everyone else.
Y'all got to take the word "distract" out of your vocabulary. Israel is not committing genocide to distract from the Epstein files.
I don't really know or care much about Greta Thuneberg. But I wouldn't criticize her unless my activism was objectively more effective than hers...and I don't think that describes either of us.
Who cares?
The media is pushing this narrative about "Trump voters" so that liberals will go "FAFO" and jerk off about leopards. The fact remains that most of the people hurt by these policies didn't vote for them.
Note for the internet: I am just clarifying the Catholic stance. I am not Catholic and not defending them.
Priests cannot reveal what someone tells them in confession. It's a lot like attorney-client privilege, as your priest is supposed to be your advocate before God. Breaking the seal of confession is a big deal (to them) because, just like criminals deserve representation, sinners need to be able to confess.
No one will ever convince me that the weapon they "found" wasn't drenched in Central Park pond water.
BE CAREFUL. I HEARD THEY HAVE A VIRUS THAT MAKES YOU TYPE IN ALL CAPS.
There were two immigrant teenagers murdered in NYC the same day as Thompson. Nobody cared in the slightest.
Leftists are so insignificant that we don't need to make any concessions to them but so powerful that they are responsible for any Democratic loss.
Woohoo, that's my boss! Explains a lot about the company.
Fun fact: we had to "return to office" last year. I had to move away from all my friends to a red state. Come to find out, there's practically nobody in the office either. All of our work is done over zoom. It was just a "quiet layoff", but I couldn't find another job in time to quit.
A pen? Foolhardiness.
Using a sterile cylinder of metal or glass is called "sounding" and is a somewhat common fetish. I think this post is a joke, but humanity never fails to disappoint me.
I think 10% of people believe nearly anything. It's basically the rounding error for a survey.
Honestly, if you had asked me 10 minutes ago "Is MacOS based on Linux?" I would have gotten it wrong. But if you asked "Is MacOS based on UNIX or Linux?" I would have gotten it right.
