better yet, don't quote vaush

they're a south african brutal death metal band. the name is an abbreviation of sorts, with the full name being: Acidic Vaginal Liquid Explosion Generated By Mass Amounts Of Filthy Fecal Fisting And Sadistic Septic Syphilic Sodomy Inside The Infected Maggot Infested Womb Of A Molested Nun Dying Under The Roof Of A Burning Church While A Priest Watches And Ejaculates In Immense Perverse Pleasure Over His First Fresh Fetus

hes really going for gold in the scumlympics

its XAVLEGBMAOFFFASSSSITIMIWOAMNDUTROABCWAPWAEIIPPOHFFFX

I really enjoy RimWorld :D doesnt have to be all warcrimes and organ trade, and with the abundance of mods you can totally build up a solarpunk utopia in any flavor you like (also with the ideology dlc you can actually ingrain specific values to your colonists and theres a huge variety of meme mods for it)

unfortunately, it doesnt go on sale more than 10% like ever.

edit: its on sale for 20%, DLCs 10%!

i mean its literally .ml so im not sure exactly what you were expecting? except for most of the reddfugees being directed there, the core demographic is tankies. just use an instance more alligned with your values instead; i use slrpnk.net because well im an Anarcho-Solarist.

and if the tankie content really impacts your enjoyment of lemmy, just block offending users or communities.

the only thing practically capping the lengthening of the cycle is planned obsolescence. If your phone starts acting weird and losing usability 2 years in, and you cant fix it without shelling out the equivalent of a new phone (I'm looking at you apple), there's no real way around a new phone. be it old model or flagship, you're still forced to buy because no phone is understandably not an option for most people.

poor brennan

yeah thas just the consequence of that instance being linked in a lot of exodus posts... not much we can change but i assume itll equalize out as lemmy grows and people spread out to other instances. ofc that a lot of the communities are on .ml sucks but that too may change with future developments such as multi-community implementations.

it would be neat if you could not only group communities together, but also post to that "multireddit" and have the post appear on every community included in it. that way you can have a grouping of all the tech coms for example and not have to repost to each one manually.

more or less. most are perfectly legible once you know what its supposed to say and some can be read by almost anyone.
this one specifically though is recognizable by its crowded pattern and unique shape with the horns on the bottom. its not designed to be legible in the first place (especially not with this much compression), sort of satirizing the whole thing, and thats kinda the point of their name and band in its entirety

you make people eat things they hate and they kill each other over boulders in the visible vicinity. sometimes the higher power tries its best to kill them, other times you get 36 milk.

he GONE series by Michael Grant. Ive wished for a series based on the books since I first touched them.

so, professional scratch?

ooo i saw them live in 2017 i think, super cool music! my favorite song is def cockroach king haha

you can see if you find one you like on picrew.me

generally being able to search for communities across instances would be nice

yep definitely a protector, just not a high quality tempered glass one. it has cutouts for the camera and all and there was a protective sleeve over it.

cheap case (no front cover), stock (came pre-applied) screen protector thats scratched to hell from my nails swiping across it. thats it, no cracks or other damages except miniscule (like 0.5mm) chips in three of the corners from dropping it constantly.
