This has been going on as long as these machines have been around see https://blackboxvoting.org/ for example. Seems to be the point by now. Gambling machines in Vegas have better security protocols than the machines we vote with.
Use paper ballots if you can, vote early and drop them off in a precinct box if possible.
My top two reasons are realizing I posted somewhere I maybe shouldn’t and realizing I shared personal identifying information. A bit too late for the latter once it’s out there but you can’t win ‘em all 🤷🏼♀️
The other day someone posted an interesting boundary map of their farthest travels and I thought it was a fun idea, made my own and uploaded it and realized after posting that a Europe comm might not want Americans posting so I deleted it for example.
#3: Metal Voltron
This guy was heavy enough to knock out your little sister. In an era of plastic Gobots and G.I Joes the die cast metal Voltron was the king of the toybox. I had the inferior plastic Voltron lions but knew a kid with the metal version and there was no comparison. Well I guess there was a comparison the metal one was much cooler.
#2: Omnibot 2000
I got a few toy robots over the years but the most control they would usually have is a single wired push button to make them roll or maybe move an arm. The Omnibot 2000 ads made it look like a freakin’ R2D2. I was convinced he would be my ultimate playmate and companion and probably help me with my homework. I never got to see one in person.
#1 U.S.S. Flagg
The G.I. Joe aircraft carrier was a legend. They didn’t really bother putting ads for this thing in the Sears catalog, to this day I have no idea how much the Flagg cost and at the time was never sure if it really existed. You would hear about it through the grapejuice vine though. Half believed tales from friends of friends claiming to have seen one at a cousins house in Vermont. A beat up used Skystriker plane from goodwill that would land on this thing was the closest I ever got and that was the biggest toy in my box, dwarfing the Kenner X-Wing fighter. Truly a grail of the day.
Let me tell you I can still look up pizza joints in my home town and the only vegetables they have for pizza are mushrooms, onions and peppers. The west coast lives different when it comes to food isn’t that what this post is about?
thanks for using Leebra!
