You can use gamescope to set a higher or lower resolution and it'll down or up scale it to your screen.

I presume you can use obs or something like that to record the raw footage before scaling.

I doubt you would use a image algorithm for this. There is so much better data to cross correlate, not to mention cheaper 😂.

Have you tried using nix-hardware repo? They have some device specific configs that apply.

If you are, have you tried doing it "raw" in the configs instead?

Also if you are using an AMD CPU, smokeless UMAF has more BIOS options, and you can try enabling/disabling modern standby as well as a LOT of other power options.

I'd recommend something AMD if you want fast and stable graphics drivers.

I can type at 120wpm when I used to practice everyday when I first got into keyboards. Nowadays I average 100wpm, with some lucky ones up to 120wpm.

I've heard people said it takes a few weeks to get used to the none staggered layout of these ergo keyboards. For me, I was typing 50wpm first day, then got up to 80wpm within a week.

I moved some of the symbols to the bottom row and that took some getting use to.

Overall, I think it only took me a few days to be useable, and then to break even within the month.

I did practice everyday, and I use a keyboard everyday for my work, so your mileage may vary.

you need to capture the game not the gamescope instance.

OpenWebUI has search integration as well as a lot of other features. It's commonly used used ollama and shipped in a lot of images.

It works just fine for me. What are the steps that you did?

I use nix so:

1. I installed OBS with all the plugins especially obs-vscapture
2. Run OBS and add Game Capture Source
3. Using lutris I enabled gamescope and changed the game resolution to something higher. I have a 1440p display so I tried 2560x1600 (16:10) to make sure I'm capturing it right.
4. Inside Lutris System Options game options tab I added OBS_VKCAPTURE and set it to 1.
5. When I run the game I can see gamescope is working as it's projecting a 16:10 game onto my 16:9 screen.
6. Inside OBS I can see the game capture is working and when I select the Game Capture source it shows that it's a bit too tall for my display.

Should be a similar thing for you, I would try something obvious like 16:10 first so you can get immediate visual feedback and then tweak your settings from there.

Yeah the layout is very much designed for typing text and lots of it. I was able to move a lot of the symbols under the bottom alpha row so I can reach it easier.

Have you tried a custom layout? It is very customisable on the web interface. Defo worth a look if you have a niche usage of it.
