There are SEEMINGLY UNLIMITED reasons to discredit this person and one of them is not 'addict in recovery'.

I think this is buy design. Capitalism zaps your energy by forcing you to pay the bills and leaves no energy for fun. Lazy fun means consuming. Food, drugs, tech, media, etc.

I have a family member that works as an engineer building parts for various spacecraft. They get excited about the possibility of finding a renewable energy source and just in general what science can gain and learn from space that will make life better on earth.

Every time I start to feel bad for these men, I remember every time I was either victimized or made to feel uncomfortable on purpose and I no longer feel bad about it. Here's what happens when the cops show up to a busy body call. The cops show up, they ask what's going on, they see nothing illegal is happening and leave. Kids continue living their lives. Can't loiter at the park. Don't trespass or loiter in a parking lot or other private property. If they keep calling, the cops start recognizing whose calling and stop questioning the same kids over and over. Cops always give warnings about loitering. If your police are arresting minors for loitering, you got bigger problems. Honestly, isn't it just a ticket?

Whether or not cops are safe depends on many factors, but having the cops know where you're kids are isn't a terrible thing.
