Crazy to me that windows is finally worse than MacOS

Yeah capitalism isn't interrupt about free markets and competition or investing in yourself. It's about the ownership class, and the labour class (those that work for the owner class, make all the money and get proportionally none of it). Companies are mini monarchies where you get no say in the policy, the ownership of the company is usually passed on to descendents, you live half your life abiding by the mini monarchy. You vote outside of work, but not at work, work is not democratic. Even so, governments are not mediators between workers and elite, the people that end up in government are of the elite class and have their own interests in mind. We only have our labour rights and aren't complete slaves today because of very strong socialist movements during and after the great depression and ww2. They compromised with some socialism to avoid complete socialism, but these movements are of course not too frequently mentioned in history lessons
Meanwhile, Russian is 99% phonetic if you take the total of 5 hours to learn the Cyrillic alphabet (which by the way Duolingo was actually incredible at, just don't use duo for actually learning the language)
I've cut my meat consumption to a third. I realise I don't even like meat that much unless it's ultra processed lol. I think vegetables and tofu are bloody bangin but for now I'm happy with meat 2 days a week, whether that'll go down further I dunno
I'd like one for gaming that doesn't have that weird bright lights RBG gaming laptop aesthetic
Btw what's wrong with Europe using Fedora? It's not like Fedora is able to Killswitch EU OS or anything, just like Google can't just Killswitch brave browser
I hate how unfree the media is these days. They're owned by huge conglomerates or in the case of the BBC probably some elite class lobbyists or pressure to favour the elite class, that is, reform l, over the greens.
Yeah don't get me wrong, I despise meta and their facade pretending WhatsApp is private. Your example is evidence but not proof but it does not mean I doubt you because it really doesn't surprise me. Gmail likes to pretend it's secure and private too because data in transit is supposedly encrypted but they can still just read absolutely everything in your inbox themselves
How do you convince people to switch? I can't even get people to switch from WhatsApp to signal (I know it's American) but something so simple and easy to switch as a chat app, let alone an operating system. I feel like I'm losing my battle here with my peers
At this point it feels like they're being paid to make people vote for Reform who will then make great use of all the surveillance infrastructure that Labour and Tories have put in place
thanks for using Leebra!
