Booking.com is originally Dutch, with still lots (probably most, don’t know) of work and revenue in Amsterdam. Although it became American owned few years ago. However, still less American than most fully American sites.
Novasol is Scandinavian, might be useful too, but afaik not in all countries. https://www.novasol.com/
I think CoMaps only finds addresses that are within the coverage area of the downloaded maps. Quite annoying, but in my experience it works quite well within that area.
Are the addresses correctly recorded on OpenStreetMap.org?

USA’s demand that Europe has to take care of its own defence, was never about Europe having to take care of its own defence.
Signal presumably has more users than all others combined. Don’t make it too diffucult. You better might switch them to a messaging app that appears to be useful to their other contacts too, not only for messaging with you and each other. Since few weeks I’m replying to all mails with X in the footer (newsletters as well as email signature of corporate mails) to tell them it would be great if they stop promoting this crappy outlet. Concise, polite and motivated.
From roughly half of them I didn’t get a reply yet. From the other half, a MAJORITY reacts positive. We all should know, the MAIN reason most organizations are still there, is because someone decided so in 2010 (!). They never thought about it afterward, because their audience / customer ‘never asks for that’.
Be. That. Customer / Reader. Who. DOES. Ask. For. That.
The main problem is that far too many Europeans mindlessly cling to everything google. There are plenty of suitable European alternatives. Probably not for every use case, but more than enough to grow European tech and support European business. https://buy-european.net/en/alternatives
For everyone who still don’t get it: It’s time to stop being obedient slaves to emperor Donald. Stop buying American. Support European jobs, business, economy. Buy European.
In the Netherlands there’s now a useful dashboard on the depressing state of US tech dependency of government agencies, education, healthcare and a group of large companies.

There’s still a long way to go.

Me too, dumped Windows for Linux dual boot Linux Mint and Zorin OS and no regrets. Never used Linux before.
