I don’t disagree that these ideas exist. Some cultures far more than others. In most western cultures however, the embrace of acknowledging the contributions and strengths of women work to combat this. The recognition that they’ve had it bad for hundreds of years and this new problem with men is a short term whiplash.

The rich and powerful have been immune for a long time, even if they face any punishments its miniscule fines and slaps on the wrist, usually far beyond when the crime actual happens, when a peasant would be just locked away immediately. its just mask off now.

They arnt the ruling class, they are peasants and you are just angry at someone with a different outlook at you, assigning them ruling class because they dont have the exact same problems you do. this is exactly what they want you to do, attack and hate on your countrymen instead of the ruling class.
