You could check for Linux support. I suppose it runs on an Arm-Processor.

Maybe it runs PostmarketOs.

Edit: If you can run Linux on it:

Selfhosted:

  • Gitea (If you are a programmer)
  • Stash (Organized NSFW-Content ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )
  • Nextcloud
  • Simple-Server ( NAS/SFTP/SSH)
  • MeTube (Youtube-Downloader)
  • Kitchenowl/Mealie (Kitchen-Organization / Mealprep)
  • Lute (Selfhosted Alternative to Duolingo)
  • Speedtest (Monitoring Internet-Speed)
  • wishlist
  • Hortusfox (For managing your Plants)
  • MotionEye (Security-Cam-Monitoring)

On-Device:

  • Libreelec/Kodi (Media-Device)
  • Retroarch (Retro-Gaming-Station)

I need Motivation and often trick myself into doing some activities. Mostly per videogames. I try to do at least one Minigame per day and it actually helps with my Back-Pain. Continuity is key.

VR:

  1. Beat Saber
  2. Superhot

Nintendo Wii/Switch:

  1. Wii Sports
  2. Just Dance

No. Because if your write Software for Android you rely on the Android Debug Bridge (in short ADB). So it is an necessary part for debugging your Software. And ADB always allows installing New Software.

Personally, i would use VPN, Pihole for Local-DNS Records and a simple Local Reverse Proxy to address my Network-Services. I wouldnt open anything from my Homelab to the Internet.

Immich is the best alternative I can think of. It runs about 2 years now on my raspberry pi.

And there is even a OpenSource Companion App which syncs Photos Automatically to the Server (https://droidify.eu.org/app/?id=app.alextran.immich&repo_address=https%3A%2F%2Ff-droid.org%2Frepo .

The Search is so good that I host another sever just for my meme-Collection! It even recognise Tags like NSFW out of the Box. And all that on your own hardware! You can search by people, cities, countries Dates, Devices and so on

You can selhost it on your own Hardware. Its pretty simple. You just have to install docker and docker-compose and follow the instructions on their site.

If you followed and learned that, you can pretty much host ANY other App just like that. Its pretty much always the same steps.

In my experience shit just works in Linux. I own an 10+ year old external DVD-Drive and an newer external BD-Diskdrive. And both of em work flawless on Manjaro.

There are plenty selfhosted alternatives, where your location-data can be stored and shared on/from your own hardware, like Hauk: https://github.com/bilde2910/Hauk .

Yeah, but can you post events anonymous there? I tried it a couple of Years ago and i didnt See that Option. But maybe that changed since then.

Also it seems Less active for my country (germany). In my area there is a instance called https://bonn.jetzt/ which is quite active and is also posting on Mastodon.

https://stoat.chat/download

iOS and Android are listed.

Maybe Stoat/Revolt is for you. Stoat has - in my opinion - the same look and feel as discord.

It is OpenSource, selfhostable and it comes with most features discord has - excluding nitro.

There is an Android, Linux and Windows APP.
