I was on the fence regarding wether or not to stay subscribed to his YouTube and floatplane.

The "apology" video started to push me towards staying on board until HE LITERALLY SHRUGGED before his apology.

I found three different studies regarding this. One said that it was about 15% of women, one said it was 50% of women and 8% of men. Another said that women with color vision defficiency and mild color blindness might have tetrachomacy effectively rendering the extra cones pointless. ANOTHER study showed that only one person EVER had been diagnosed with Tetrachomacy.

While I really appreciate media that brings to light conditions that the average person might not know about I really dislike articles and media that make things seem way more common then they are and/or portray things as fact that are far more nuanced. You won't find the terrible reception that OP is claiming there was. From an outside perspective it looks generally helpful in nature.

Cautionary tale:

For us it was trial and error. We thought we were doing pretty well by keeping track of the weather and balancing the whole house heating vs single room. Until we had a snap freeze that plummeted the temps overnight to an obscene degree. We were comfortably warm in our bedroom as all the pipes in the kitchen and bathroom were bursting.

10's of thousands of dollars in demolition and reconstruction later we have decided that in this instance it's better to waste some small amount of energy keeping the whole house heated rather than risking another catastrophic failure.

There is absolutely no reason to not use volume as the thing being modified by the item EXCEPT as far as I am aware the RAW is that the fireball is measured by its radius.

By that reasoning the new fireball should have a radius of 200 ft. Which is obscenely large and also puts the caster within the blast radius.

If I remember correctly in older editions the fireball would also fill up rooms until it's full VOLUME was achieved not necessarily just it's radius.

Meaning a 20ft radius fireball would fill a 5ft x 5ft hallway/tunnel (weird size I know... easy math) for 1,340ft and the new 200ft radius (33,510,300 ft^3) fireball would fill the same hallway for... 1,340,412 FEET OR JUST SHORT OF 254 MILES OF TUNNEL!

If my players were stupid enough cat fireball on a magic enhancing object, personally, I'm using the later object and also multiplying the damage by 100.
