I became a Redditor during the Digg exodus... Now I'll become a Lemming during the Reddit exodus.

Shit I've seen broke mf taking cigarettes out of public ashtrays that have a few hits left on them

I loved my mother and grandmother dearly but don't have the faintest idea what year they died. Their deaths are not events I wish to commemorate.

You're not missing anything. They're the worst of the sandwich chains, IMO.

I'm the person OP is talking about and my wife is the person you're talking about.

It is physically and emotionally painful for me to have to look at or use her phone.

All religions are poisonous.

I think consumers love game pass, though. I know I sure do.

I own a Tesla and this is one of my biggest gripes: dumb shit just to be different. Not good, just different

Same. This is the second time I've ever voted, and I'm 35.

I guess I have to thank the Republicans for becoming insane enough to make me feel like I can no longer afford not to vote.

People don't understand this at all!!

They balk at the range but when I ask how often they drive a full tank in a day they kind of give a blank star

Don't get an EV if you can't home charge. Don't get an EV if you drive 400 miles a day. Don't get an EV if you take cross country road trips 5x a year.

Other than those scenarios, you're going to come out ahead.

Flexible packaging for 10 years here .. we recycle and reuse 100% of the scrap we make in house, even our nylon, PP, and EVOH.

When I worked in construction (Midwest US) we called 'em sparkies too

Fun trivia: The Ultimate comic universe actually introduced a black Nick Fury nearly 10 years before Jackson played him on the big screen.

I liked it 😟

Ya love to see it

Doubt that's the case anymore. I'm in the flexible packaging industry and we had to go PFAS free reeeeeal quick. .

PFAS based processing aids allowed us to run higher quality product at higher production rates with longer machine uptime.

All for the low low cost of microplastics everywhere all the time.

Same here. I've had to revert to checking a few different sites since I got off reddit to make sure I didn't miss anything important. Lemmy came through on this one!!!
