If Biden loses, it will be because not enough people were convinced to vote for him. So if dems want to prevent a Trump presidency, the smart move probably would be (or would have been, maybe, since y'all think it's too late) for Biden to step down and endorse a Dem who has not openly supported Israel's current campaign. That is, if they think that those voters are necessary to win. If they think those voters can be written off and they'll still win, let 'em try. No politician is owed a vote simply because they are the incumbent, though. Nor are they owed the votes of people who are displeased with their work. They hoping that everyone will just fall in line on election day. What if that doesn't happen? Do you think the future of our country is something that octogenarians should be gambling with?

What if Dems gave us something to vote FOR instead. What a world that would be.

Just as soon as someone does all of the necessary planning. Strikes go on for a long time. There needs to be infrastructure in place for helping people meet their needs during a strike. That's one thing that unions are able to help with. Untill that infrastructure is in place, a general strike will never succeed because people will need money to food, medication, sanitary products, etc.

Just because I don't disagree with her on literally every issue doesn't mean that her words worth my time either.

I'm sure JK Rowling and I agree on something, but I still want her to keep all of her opinions to herself, not just her problematic ones. Because she has a hard time telling the difference.

Well, all Gazans which I'm sure is what you meant by Palestinian since the West Bank is governed by the Palestinian Authority, are currently being bombed by the Israeli government. So you might be waiting a little bit. Especially seeing as Hamas hasn't allowed elections in 15 years.

There's no release date. It might be real, in that someone might be working on it, but it isn't real in the sense that there is a finished film that someone can view right now.

You're advocating for respectability politics. We have to be nice to the people who hate us to try to convince them to be nice to us. If that's the game you want to play, you can. But it certainly hasn't achieved victory for anyone yet. You know what has achieved change? Protesting. Being loud. Telling people when they're wrong. Not putting up with the bullshit.

You're advocating for assimilation, while what we want is liberation.

I mean... Israel isn't exactly accepting the offers made by the other side to stop the fighting and get their people back. They seem more intent on committing a couple of war crimes.

Even then, if it's just Asterion and not other male characters, I don't know what to make of it. I don't think making an ass flatter is homophobic (although it certainly isn't ally behavior). But it might reveal some internalized homophobia. Maybe. Again, I'm not really sure.

If it were all male characters and none of the female characters I'd be more concerned about sexism than homophobia. But that's just me.
