To be fair, buying Twitter was instrumental in him getting Trump to the presidency.

Like any Billionaire, he needed a media outlet to manufacture consent with - I'd argue that him buying Twitter wasn't as stupid a move as it initially seems.

The oppression in Tibet is known in the west mainly due to the work of the currently Dalai Lama. Arguing "but there's oppression elsewhere too!" is not really an argument that can stand in its own, can it? All oppression is bad, no matter where it's happening.
