@polygon well, don't go back.
If you felt bad about the way reddit has been treating its community, then why would you go back?

Louis Rossman said something along the lines of "It's like spending the weekend away from an abusive spouse". It's not gonna do anything.

Stop using reddit. If they don't change things before the 30th, delete the data on your account.

Edit: Here's Rossman's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U06rCBIKM5M

@thenexusofprivacy @fediverse@lemmy.ml @fediverse@kbin.social Meta and all its products are pretty much everything that the fediverse is not.

The fediverse :
- does not make money off of its users
- does not exploit its users
- does not discriminate
- does not tolerate hate, violence or abuse.
- does not moderate immorally

We are not aligned with Meta and their predatory practices. Therefore I think it's completely valid and critical to defederate them.

@kryostar@beehaw.org @unsunny Ok i figured it out. It's a bit clunky, BUT IT IS POSSIBLE! I didn't even know! Now to see if i can view this on lemmy.
