They don't work.

They measure a bunch of vital information, but they are wrong almost as often as they are right. They're total garbage

Uh, that discovery actually predated Einstein. He simply explained how the speed of light was constant for all observers

To be more accurate actually, he and his first wife explained it

When the preacher saw leto fused with the sand worms he said something to the effect of "so you've chosen that path". Which more than slightly implies he did see the worm part

Part Jewish here, yes the Nazi sympathizing was awful. But at the same time, he spearheaded massive improvements for workers.

Does that make up for supporting Nazis? No. But most people are some mix of good and bad

Here's my thing about religious exemption, and my parents used it for me, because they didn't believe in it 30 years ago. Give me one religious text that actually says you shouldn't vaccinate. Just one. You don't have it? Bye bye.

To be fair to Lego, which I agree is crazy expensive, they have tighter tolerances in flaws than NASA does. I work in manufacturing, through a different type, and tolerances that tight mean a huge amount of your production becomes scrap.

You could discuss the whether perfectionism is worth the waste, and that's a valid point, but Lego is at least delivering a solid product

There are two very good reasons not to have an election there right now

1: they just don't have the time for it, they are fighting for their lives and country.

  1. A sudden strategy shift, even if it's a good one, has the potential to put their army in disarray.

More important, it's just more projection. He's a dictator. Not me

What kind of dumb ass uninformed comment is this. We all want the war to end. But with freedom, not more oppression

The thing is, we've had that sort of capability for a long time now, we called them algorithms. Rebranding it as ai is pure marketing bullshit

He is my father, and my mother, he is my brother, and me, and you.

In case that one was too subtle

A CEO is a symbol, as is the act of destroying them. Symbols are given power by people, alone destroying a CEO means nothing, but with enough people destroying a CEO can change the world

I saw a horrible gift get thwarted by a game shop owner who thankfully gave a shit. 40ish year old woman was shopping for her son, "oh Superman 64? Is that a good one?"

Dude didn't mince words. Told her flat out it was the worst game on the 64

It does, but it's essentially static weight distributed over the whole thing, rather than specific moving points if pressure

Uh, the Nazis literally used US decisions to force sterilize low iq people as a defense at the Nuremberg trials.

WW2 was absolutely a case of the us being evil, and the Nazis being so much more evil that they had to be stopped, that doesn't mean there were not similarities, and we should definitely not write out that chapter of history the way we have
