I get unexplainable joy watching scammers get scammed on YouTube.

My favourite scam scammer is kitboga.

You had me in the first half...

I'm not a fan of Labor, I vote Green, but there are still considerable differences between the LNP and Labor. Those differences might have narrowed in recent times, but they still matter.

Hey, thanks for the write-up, mate.

Much appreciated!

They're smarter than us, you say?

That naming does makes sense, given what the treatment does, although I agree they really need to work on their marketing and come up with a term that won't cause confusion or get the anti-vax folk excitable.

From the article:

"A typical vaccine teaches the human immune system to recognize a virus or bacteria as an enemy that should be attacked. The new “inverse vaccine” does just the opposite: it removes the immune system’s memory of one molecule. While such immune memory erasure would be unwanted for infectious diseases, it can stop autoimmune reactions like those seen in multiple sclerosis, type I diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, or Crohn’s disease, in which the immune system attacks a person’s healthy tissues."

Yeah, those numbers are very questionable.

But it's a good cause, and every bit helps, with possibly a significant difference in the local areas targeted.

Me too!

I know, right.

They're living the dream!

Better than this guy's job, for sure.

I've registered to be notified about the upcoming Sync for Lemmy here: https://syncapps.io/

In the same vein:

“20 years from now, the only people who will remember that you worked late are your children"

No worries. I don't think anyone here is expecting a word for word transcript.

Your editorialising is part of the appeal.

I don't really want to hear about Mr Smith and his complaints about his wheely bin.

I'm using Jerboa, as it was the first one I found, but am waiting to try the new Sync for Lemmy when it's available.

Loving these write-ups!

You manage to capture the content and the vibe.

The ants decided to invade my bathroom today.

I've faught these guys before and I have a feeling this will not be a short war...

Anybody have any suggestions on the best approach? They're protein ants, I think and smell like coconut when you squash them.

I love Kim Stanley Robinson in general and really enjoyed one of his earlier works, 'Pacific Edge'.

Whilst it's the third in his 'Three California's Trilogy', each book is stand-alone and set in a different 'future' so have no direct baring on one another. I didn't enjoy the other two books quite as much, but they were good in their own ways.

I think it definitely comes down to intent.

As much as I despise Facebook, if you're interested in solar, electricity and generally improving the performance of your home, you should check out the 'My Efficient Electric Home' (MEEH) group.

I recently listened to the audiobooks of this and its sequel, 'A Prayer for the Crown Shy' for free on Libby.

It made a very nice change from my usual dark dystopian sci fi reads...

Thanks again for this service.

Much appreciated! 👍
