Quick and dirty Google search says GDPR law is complicated when it comes to backups https://www.itgovernance.eu/...

Have more than one interest/hobby! I can't imagine doing the same for months on end with no alternative. I naturally gravitate to a monthly rotation (not consciously, just kinda happens) of high interest in something, and then there's a few things I do whenever (read a book when I have a few minutes here or there, do some cross stitching while watching my husband play a game, etc).

There's a kbin userstyle for PC (do they exist for mobile?) that gives you a sidebar of your subscribed magazines that groups them from different instances! You still have to find them first though.

I feel ya... Put in a feature request?

@LukeSky Well, what kind of things does she like to stitch? Funny text? Flowers? Animals?

Boobytraps. Rumours about a curse/ghosts/entry fee. Pretend there's something boring in there. Allow entry, but make the process the full force of German bureaucracy (you need to file form A on a blood moon, to get form A, you need document B2, no not that one the green one, you can get it from Location C but that's only open once a month for half an hour, and if you don't wear pink they won't help you).

@kindenough Thanks, I had no idea! I will pass this on to the person that made me aware of it!

@blueskiesoc Flamingos are awesome, you have nothing to worry about 😄

I tried Dune a few times, I just can't do it. Not the books, not the miniseries, not the new movie. In theory it sounds great, but... It's not gripping me at all for some reason.

Thanks! Would have been nice to get an email from Google about it. I have a website on Squarespace (recently moved over from Wix). Since them people are getting my money anyway, should I just let them have ny domain too or move to something else? The comments here like Cloudflare (need to check prices, I currently pay 12 bucks a year).

Clocking in at 651 myself! Can't wait for kbin to populate more.

@kindenough I'm currently using the Duckduckgo browser for 95% of my online stuff. Sadly it doesn't work with a lot of payment sites, so it's back to Chrome for that (I know Firefox has more privacy, I just never really got into it).

I also found Startpage recently, but they went the way of Qwant as well https://restoreprivacy.com/...

Have a good weekend too!

• Saltatio Mortis

And more I can't remember the name of because I suck at names but I might remember to append them tomorrow 😅

Is anything safe to buy anymore?

Maybe if we make it, they will come? (and someone will want to take over modding?)

Great to start a collection of magazines! I'm still a little lost here... I'm looking for something along the lines of WitchesVsPatriarchy and general witchy/pagan magazines. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated =)

Did you save it, by any chance?

You make a good point, abuse of women is normalised. I think in this particular case (book vs show), the show was a lot more visceral, whereas in my opinion it was kinda of 'glossed over' in the book. It might be part of the writing style - I usually read books in first person, so it's like you are the character. This story was written so detached, I didn't feel much for anyone.
