Funny the author is furious but can't articulate why. I'm not even sure what she is alluding to in regards to safety. Bathroom orgies? Poop knife fights? Tampon toss competitions?
Unisex bathrooms make sense from a practical and rational perspective. However we don't always live in a rational thinking world.
I'd be happy to see a more positive attitude in this community than what's seen in the regional subs over on Reddit. All doom and glom gets pretty tiring over time.
I think making a change in attitude towards constructive criticism would be much more healthy for the poster and for overall discussion in the community. It opens up debate and becomes a driver for engagement.
I certainty disagree that our situation is hopeless. We're clearly seeing a decline in the standard of living we used to take for granted without much thought. There are major challenges that will require reform, but that reform will never happen with a disengaged and despairing electorate.
Just because they're currently out of the 24hr news cycle doesn't mean they've disappeared or don't have an influence on current events. Actually I think half of them still regularly are the subject of articles. We still regularly see news stories regarding Taliban mismanagement of Afghanistan. Saudi financing of extremists and old prince bonesaw's antics have definitely had an impact on relations with other nations and is likely the reason for their reconciliation with Iran recently. I think I just read an article last week about deforestation in Brazil. Same with stories about microplastics and ongoing research into that.
This picture is just an argument out of ignorance. Hardly surprising since it's just some feels guy cancer.
CSS isn't for nerds. Nerds are smart.
Seriously it took them like 20 years to reimplement table based layouts in the form of grid. In between we were stuck playing the devils Tetris stacking boxes on top of each other and trying to float all that garbage to produce janky, buggy layouts that would crumble apart when resized.
In this case I think either the author can't explain their position because it's unacceptable and indefensible or they simply lack the critical thinking skills needed to fully explain their position. It's likely a mix of both.
It's Lecce. Don't expect anything resembling reality outta that guy.
As for cursive itself the only positives I've seen mentioned in research and in anecdotal conversations is that physically writing information down helps with memory retention as opposed to typing it out on a keyboard. Although I'd imagine the same could be said about simply printing it out by hand.
It'll be interesting to see what style they introduce in this new curriculum. Looking at examples online my style fits mostly with the Zaner-Bloser method.
A lot of the users on here just lurk and don't participate in discussions. That's how you get a community with 10 or 20 subscribers and only a couple of active members that actually contribute.
Certainly blows my collection of old junk out of the water.
Has running Stable Diffusion had a big impact on the other stuff running? I'm thinking the Minecraft servers in particular.
Technically yes but then you'd be a pedantic little shit for insisting so.
There's a new one over here that's for Minecraft and Minetest. I'll start posting on it for the Minetest stuff.
I'm guessing the tankies are using Minecraft for fantasy political roleplay?
I'm just going to chime in to note that I'll be blocking this community. I'm simply not interested in having a community entirely reliant on a bot to generate the illusion of activity in my feed.
The big draw for him might be Minetests moddability. All of a games content is in .lua files and it can be modified with just a basic text editor. An easy thing to do would be to change the mining time of a pickaxe or change the number of planks you get from a wood block. If he really gets into it, it's possible to create a game from the ground up without relying on the base Minetest Game.
Best bet would be to set him up with the Minecraft clone game. This can be done by going to the Content tab in the menu. Select Browse Online Content. On the second page is Mineclone2.
Kind of. Keep in mind this era travel is by horse, horse and wagon, or more commonly simply on foot. Travel time is measured in days so it's important to know where inns are and which roads are considered decent. Decent meaning not being an absolute mudhole. That's why the map has so many little notes.
Could you explain what egg hatching is? Sorry I'm not part of the trans community.
That Skyfactory series is probably the most rewatchable one.
I'd also give a nod to Project Ozone 2. Half the fun of that one is watching Etho trying to manage buggy or outright broken garbage mods.
Nice. I know most here are used to how Reddit structures their content, or are on the federation bandwagon. Personally I'm just happy to see the internet get a little more decentralized.
On a related note I should set up and play around with some old school forum software. It's been a few years since I've looked at it.
I'm a big fan of Dokuwiki. I use it to document and plan out my various hobbies and interests. Also listing future large projects and purchases. Installation is very simple.
I've also got Wordpress going as a home digital cookbook.
Is the current makeup of city council one that can work well with Chow? I don't follow local Toronto politics to closely.
thanks for using Leebra!
