Its wild that they say this is to prevent people from getting scammed, meanwhile there is a ton of shit in the Play store that steals peoples info, mines crypto in the background or pops up ads every 4 seconds. But yea, this is for everyone's safety.....

They are citing Clean Air Act violations as a reason they are going after the app!? Pretty wild considering his EPA is actively trying to let car makers to pollute more and I'm pretty sure rolling coal is legal now. The app makers must have some details about the Epstein files or something

This was cool but it made me a little sad to finally know that my 15 year old microwave is just as dumb as I always knew and the button just starts a timer, nothing fancy.

Glad to see they have to pay up but what was different about this compared to the similar case that Meta won the other day?

Ha, and it's always something that probably gets like 4mpg.

I'm excited to see how fast both develop. The difference between Jerboa today and a couple days ago is pretty amazing. Things are moving quickly

I was just in Dublin and saw Guinness 0.0 in a bunch of places. Things are definitely shifting if that can exist in Ireland.

How about Respawn work on another Titanfall and 'finish' a trilogy in a series that isn't totally overdone.

I have a Samsung frame because I wanted a TV that didn't look so much like I had one, but the software is so goddam bad. The only way to switch sources quickly is to set them as a favorite which isn't always that straight forward if you didn't do it right away. Regardless you have to let the the home page fully render before you can even worry about that. Even the Samsung TV app which you would think would be perfectly optimized for the hardware since the same compare makes the software is barely functional and loads like a web page on AOL in 1998

Aside from the obvious concerns, from a cost perspective why would you chose ring when you have to pay for it to be useful. There are other options that are cheaper and free to use as long as you pop an SD card in them. Obviously they aren't totally innocent of concern but feels like people do zero research into what's available.

Ogre Battle 64 is mine. The n64 wasn't exactly known for rpgs but this had so many characters, a ton of depth and an intense story that I wish it was brought up more. This was my intro to a tactical rpgs and I felt like I went right into the deep end.

I resentfully hung on to it after the take over but soon as a the icon changed from the bird on my phone I just couldn't and uninstalled it.

I've watched a bunch of his videos before. He has an old abandoned car factory with a ton of equipment. No idea how any of the building maintenance has been paid for since they were in rough shape but would be cool to see it in action. Not sure YouTube ad dollars and patreon will carry him all the way there though

I'm gonna assume that this is because they are Microsoft now. They use a ton contractors on everything these days instead of actual employees but the catch is contractor can only stay there for 18 months and then have to leave or get hired so any experience on the project gets thrown away. Moving to unreal allows them to bring on a wider group of dev contractors so hopefully the ramp up isn't as long. This is just a theory but the same thing happened to Halo since that's moving to unreal to. If they just retained actual talent this wouldn't be a problem and the games wouldnt suck as much even if engine was less advanced.

I've had to use it in various forms for so long now and I can't believe how unintuitive it is to use. Nothing outside of adding comments is obvious. I dared to try to see what was in a previous sprint and it basically requires a custom report. Why isn't there just a view sprint dropdown or something? I did a quick search to see if it was just me which lead to the Jira subreddit (why is that a thing?) and felt like I was getting gaslit by all the jira 'professionals' calling it a skill issue

I think I've seen somewhere that you should set up reference values or something so that you can change parameters on the fly without breaking anything, which is insane to need to have to do that to avoid running into the 'topological naming issue' that magically no other package had a problem with. I've basically stopped using filets and chamfers because those will just destroy any chance I can update anything on the model later on.

The community really is brutal too. I remember reading someone getting taken down because they were asking how to extrude instead of pad while they were on the 'part design' workbench

But not just anyone.... The court said he couldn't fire that guy from the fed, cause that's clearly the only important thing that the president needs oversight on /s. Despite the fact that he's destroying the economy other ways. It's all fucking ridiculous

When they first released it it basically had no guard rails so I had it generate a bunch of sql code and answer unrelated questions. Seems they 'fixed' that so it's now completely useless.

Allegedly another company has licensed the designs forom Microsoft and we're supposed to start offering them later this year... Although there isn't exactly much runway left this year and the only articles talk about the announcement so in January so who knows.
