This is fantastic. I've really been struggling to find some other trans guys and transmasc folks on the fediverse. :D

In addition to this on mastodon (and *key instances) you can use hashtags can be used to follow and join in on topics you wish to post about. I find that people on the fediverse tend to be a lot more responsive when you talk to them in regards to something they have posted.

The closest I've gotten to hair horror stories is trying to cut my own hair and getting the scissors tangled in them. I had to get another pair of sissors to cut them out.

Your poor wife! Maybe a nice hat, headscarf or a lacefront wig might work for her. The latter tends to look quite nice and natural when applied correctly. Her scalp might be a little bit sensitive to all of the sun we're having so beware!

My sympathies to you, (not that you need it but) it sounds like a really rough time! I don't know if I'd have the energy to deal with adult tantrums when I have a migraine so I completely understand and don't blame you for taking time for yourself now that you can.

This is lovely, hi there! :D I'm trying not to melt in warm weather. Thanks for setting this place up!

Welcome to DATATERM, I saw a little bit about VA-11-Hall-A floating around lemmy, I think it was from you. Whatever you can share I'd love to see it! I think it will take time because this place is very new but I get that hesitant feeling too. I've followed the community so I can learn more about the game.

The fediverse can be a bit mind bending at first and it comes with it's own quirks that's for sure. Thanks for taking a moment to share your thoughts with us!

Ayyy, welcome to the fediverse, glad to hear things are feeling good for ya!

We're not the police so no worries! Have fun! :D

When I saw this, I felt an icky feeling because there was someone trying to talk about how this would all be good on the blockchain and how it might work on the blockchain. I wish they would leave the blockchain out of it.

This is my favourite web sequel so far though. Thanks for making it happen @felsqualle@dataterm.digital !

Hey there @neurocyde@dataterm.digital , it's a very exicitng time and we're sharing this excitement with you! It's so great to find more high-tech low-life people to hang with!

In addition to what Revengeday has said, regarding your question of which jurisdiction, we ask that folks atleast stick within the laws of Germany at the very least. We're an international community though so you might want to be wary of your own local laws too.

We've gotten along with people from other federated communities in the past and in the present, we hope this will continue with the idea of mutual respect in mind! If you see anything that you think is against the rules or bothers you because you think it might be breaking the rules, just send a report over to us.

The biggest unofficial rule is have fun and explore! (And if you find something cool, share it with the rest of us!)

Eat a diet with hardly any fibre before you go. The last time I was bunged up for 4 days I had eaten a lot of meat and not enough veggies in comparison. It'll either help, or you'll just have a very big poop idk.

I would recommend lessening your fibre as a minimum if you must though!

It's only a matter of time before Lemmy gets hit with a bot problem so I do understand why there'd be concern about open sign ups on those large instances in addition to trolls. So far I've seen a lot of nice things from lemmy.world but that's not to say there isn't bad actors out there.

I agree with you. I've tried the legal path and it's really expensive, the quality isn't the best and it's full of red tape. The legacy market has it's own problems too of course. I'm really in favour of grow your own, local co-ops or clubs, stuff like that.

The stigma is still huge so unfortunately I don't see things chnaging yet. If it does it will be a big surprise.

I'm looking for a spanish group too! :D

I have this same problem haha. I'm a little bit stretched over the various instances for now. I've only just set up the refold community which is for all languages but it's based off learning things from netflix, youtube, books and games (videogames and boardgames).

I searched up learn spanish and found "learning spanish for deplorable tankies"...yeah... no thanks. I think I may have to set one up afterall!

Also, I'm sorry to hijack your thread /u/DVD! I'll crosspost your community to my language learning community as I know there are some people on my instance who wish to learn German.

I'm really hoping so. Currently we're free of ads and algorithms. I really hope that what has happened with reddit prompts some people enough to stay here for a while longer because then we're more likely to have regular creators.

You're right there to be honest, it feels like bringing back a modern twist on tradition brought in a breath of fresh air and I'm loving it.

I might post something about farts then or dustbunnies. JK... too lazy but ha... the malicious complicance reopenings are fun. It gives them a chance to scrape any of the good stuff and put it elsewhere. ;)

Isn't apollo free? Am I missing something here? I have no idea what he's getting at. If a dev is making your service B E T T E R then leave them be or just make a better app! They're bringing people to his site. Apollo should be charging reddit at this rate!

Big clown moves from this fella, he fell out of the goofy tree.

Welcome aboard!

Omg, it's GayCookie! I'm so glad to see you here! Welcome!
