The Yankees stepped on me without my consent, so I'm destroying their capitalist hellhole.

If he really is dead, then I can't say that I'm surprised; not after the adventurist stunt that he pulled off just a little while ago.
Before I read the article, I had thought that the US was angry over an American company violating sanctions and helping Chinese companies.
But, nope! The US is angry that Chinese companies are...helping other Chinese companies to achieve national self-sufficiency.
The logic from r/worldnews is that Russia is so deranged to the point that they're willing to sabotage themselves only to hilariously fail, like a comic book villain. This is not an exaggeration lol
I suppose that it depends on what exactly you're trying to enjoy.
The world really is revolving faster than I had anticipated. I thought that the decline of USD hegemony would gradually occur over the span of two or three decades, but it might occur in just a few years. This year, 2023, isn't even over, yet 21 countries—BRICS+ and ASEAN—have agreed to remove USD as the middleman in cross-border transactions.
Furthermore to be Socialist would be to aid comrades internationally, yet China not only has not promised to ever do this (nor is this something Communist would ever dare hide from the Global masses), but they've actually done the opposite on multiple occasions."
But China does aid "comrades" by working with any country, regardless of the complaints of the imperial core, and promoting mutually beneficial, win-win cooperation and pro-Global South industrialization and modernization. Just recently, China pledged to help defend Venezuela's national sovereignty and economic transition into an industrial economy rather than simply existing as a raw material exporter. China's foreign policy in the past has not always been great, but that does not mean that we should let the mistakes overshadow the accomplishments. That would just be historical nihilism. The commenter's idea of internationalism seems to be incessantly lending arms and money into so-called Maoist armies, but this is not China's approach to diplomacy—China is not the USSR and shouldn't strive to be!
I'm not even going to bother with the rest of this childish take—nothing but rhetoric and overzealous dogmatism over material reality.
Russia, one day; China, the next. Perhaps, Iran, after that?
I'm not surprised. The only politically relevant parties In Europe that call for more independence from the US and NATO are the far right-led ones.
To be fair, China is "revisionist" in that it no longer follows a thoroughly centrally-planned economy, publicly advocates for class war against the international bourgeoisie by exporting revolution, and makes defense pacts with other left-wing governments out of ideological solidarity; similar to what existed in the USSR. However, this is not necessarily a bad thing. The Chinese saw that their current model wasn't improving the quality of life of the people - at least, not as much as they had hoped for; so, they decided to stave from political fundamentalism and strive to do whatever it takes to objectively raise the living standards of the common person; and to accomplish that goal, a mixed economy where the public sector remains dominant was adopted.
At the end of the day, reality is the final arbiter of theory; and reality has greatly rewarded the Chinese.
I think a more interesting question is what China would be like if the reforms and opening up didn't occur; whether the PRC would have survived, or even thrived, if its' mode of production wasn't revamped.
The water around this topic has been muddied to the point where nothing other than a personal confrontation will make me accept it.
Socialism with Chinese characteristics (SWCC)
I've never heard of Russians being identified as Slavic beasts, but I have heard "Asiatic horde" and "orcs".
The BRICS summit meeting begins tomorrow.
Interestingly enough, Xi Jinping's speech at the Closing Ceremony of the BRICS Business Forum 2023 makes a similar remark:
An ancient Chinese thinker observed that “following the underlying trend will lead one to success, while going against it can only cause one to fail.” We humankind have achieved notable economic development and social progress over the past decades, and that is because we have drawn lessons from the two world wars and the Cold War, followed the historical trend of economic globalization, and embarked on the right path of openness and development for win-win cooperation. Our world today has become a community with a shared future in which we all share a huge stake of survival. What people in various countries long for is definitely not a new Cold War or a small exclusive bloc; what they want is an open, inclusive, clean and beautiful world that enjoys enduring peace, universal security and common prosperity. Such is the logic of historical advance and the trend of our times.
This blue water boi comes to you and smacks your rear with its' tail. How do you react?

It's the acronym of the English transliteration of the Russian word for the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), Kommunisticheskaya Partiya Rossiyskoy Federatsii (KPRF).
The unpleasant reality is Russians, like the Chinese Americans have never, in all their long history, existed without authoritarian rule. They are culturally inured to it. They actively seek it. They’re broken, as a society, and only dissolving their society will cure them.
This term is probably Xi's last one.
Why the hell is there so much attention diverted to Barbie and Oppenheimer? Were they pushed this heavily as some counter-intelligence operation?
