People in a field shoot without reguard to what's in the direction of the bullets they are firing. Kids flee, a coach is shot and someone thought they should blame the baseball field builders lol. Mate if you fire a gun and there is any reasonable belief that bullet can strike something other than your target, you should be charged with shooting at that object.

To me that means attempting to kill that coach/kids.

Seems like they are setting Hegseth up to take a few falls to consolidate blame.

So the OS requires a subscription to get security updates. That's no fun

Being that it is presumably a state owned company, they should know if there is a VPN installed on it. If there isn't, the guy would have had to use his ID to access porn sites in Oklahoma. It would be hilarious if someone like pornhub came out and said. On that date at that time he was watching this porn according to our records. We have those records because your state made them mandatory for us to keep.

I worked multiple customer facing roles when I was younger. This is the procedure for all of them, in fact it is usually a firable offense to try to stop someone with a weapon or threatened you. It is easy to defend stolen product to an insurance company. If you try to stop someone robbing a store and are injured or killed do to a policy the store had or a manager told you, the insurance isn't going to pay anything. Someone stealing "$30,000" worth of merchandise (which insurance pays you back for) and then being on cameras and not being able to use a lot of it without getting caught is much more preferable than having to pay hundreds of thousands in medical bills or millions in gross negligence if someone dies.

I never liked those shoes. They are like a bad knock off of toms. Somehow they even make shittier crocs for jails as well... I remember walking into a Walmart and a guy being like "yo when did you serve" as I was buying a pair of entnies (didn't know they sold them there, but they were like $25) to finish my 19 mile walk home. Wasn't sure how he knew at first, then realized he remembered those shitty shoes as well.

(Things not to do in life, get pulled out of bed in the middle of the night by police wearing no shoes and forced to walk across a stone driveway.)

Innocent until proven guilty time and time again proves to be not how our system works. Alleged charges were dismissed and expunged. The impact on my life, not able to be taken back.

More and more does it look like we are going to need a huge general strike with everyone refusing to work for about 2 months. It may cause a lot of people to go homeless if anyone can enforce evictions and many may starve. But the immediate move for companies while the markets crash into the Trumppression would have to be for billionaires to try to forcibly move their companies over seas in attempts to save anything they have left.

The alternative is 100 years of massive viral/bacterial spreads that wipe us out in essential plagues while wealth disparity forces large swaths of the country into slavery.

I really hope it doesn't come to either.. but that's what this administration is forcing the population into.

Edit: Note earlier this year this administration already made massive cuts to NOISH, some of which were reversed, which is the administration that under/in the CDC that pushes research to OSHA to help ensure the health and safety of workers.

I don't understand how this makes sense. They had a protected status because their home country was having a crisis. So this would make me think the administration was saying the crisis is over so they should be able to go home.

Yet the administration specifically is referring to Venezuela as under a democratic crisis with large portions of the population experiencing crisis, on all their government websites, like say congress.gov published on September 30, 2025. https://www.congress.gov/crs-product/IF10230 So their own actions don't align with their statements?

Not sure we ever fully understand the full extent of what the force does when it comes to enticing/manipulating others. Forcing your will onto another is the principle of a Jedi mind trick and nearly all Jedi can do it. Someone as strong with the force as Anakin could have been slowly manipulating her without ever really comprehending he did so. His subconscious wanted her as we know.

It may be one of the reasons why they aren't supposed to have serious ongoing romantic relationships.

People act like $30/hr is high. Note this would be the mayor of NYC, so it would be raised for NYC only if he got his way. The cheapest place you can get to live on your own there I am finding is 2600 a month. So say you made 30/hr. That's $62,400 working 40 hours a week. Take out Federal/state/city taxes ends up being around $46,112 take home. The place costed $31,200. Making the lowest rent findable in Manhattan 2/3 of $30/hr.

They wouldn't be able to get approved to even live there if they tried. They would have to rent a room from someone else with a 4 bedroom place renting to 4 people for around $1200/ month. And share bathrooms/kitchen/living space with people. And they would still struggle to get by if they paid for health insurance, travel costs to and from work, food, and the whole living crap.

$30 isn't radical for NYC, it's like base needed salary... And hope you have a good stable relationship with someone else making the same, then maybe you can get your own place together, just don't do something stupid like get pregnant because you can't afford to not go to work, and can't afford to put them in daycare so you would both have to uproot and move real quick finding jobs elsewhere.

Yeah, the law pertaining to not holding elections during martial law in Ukraine was created during another person's presidency as well. He didn't make that. (It stemmed from Russias invasion into Ukraine in 2014, law made in 2015). Zelensky didn't become president until 2019.

I had to check, I never knew Ethereum got that high. It's apparently at 3,600 right now. It passed 4000 twice, hasn't dropped to 1,000 after those but looked like it was at 1800 or something after the crash in 2021.

They had to buy at its absolute peak. Sheesh. Guess if they sell now they only lose like 10%.

They talked about a guy who was in a nursing home for 22 years, couldn't hardly see and had no identification information on him (I suppose his meds had his name, but no ID, Birth Certificate and such) but they said that leaves him no way to get a job or housing.

How the fuck would someone who couldn't work for the last 22 years suddenly be able to get a job? If his insurance stopped paying and that's why they kicked him it isn't like someone can just go rent a place to live either, they need proof of income, which he wouldn't ever be able to get. Well and truly fucked out system is

More recently to mean to kill?

It's used daily at every restaurant/grocery store to mean they are out of an item. 86 cheddar just means your out of cheddar, stop selling it.

Are all the working class calling assignations on cheddar cheese they sold out of now?
