It's projection. If you showed them a rainbow or a Day of the Dead decoration, they'd get super offended and bent out of shape. And because that's how they react to things they don't like, they assume that's how everyone else reacts, too.

Protip: The reason Velveeta and American cheeses melt so well is because sodium citrate is added to them. You can buy this yourself as a powder, and then add it to actually-good cheeses to give them the same properties.
Just last week I saw an SUV with the sticker "SLOW AND LOUD" across their entire rear windshield. And indeed, they revved their loud exhaust while waiting at a stoplight.
It's now becoming a meme in my friend group to call idiots "slow and loud." It's honestly really fitting
Here's the thing: When you don't vote, you COULD be saying that both candidates are bad, and you don't like either of them...
Or you could be saying that both candidates are great, and you love both of them. That you're sure either of them will do an equally good job of running the country, so it doesn't matter who wins.
And if you don't feel that way, then you need to VOTE
With the leisurely pace, I wonder if some of the employees had organized a quiet-quitting strike or something.
Reminds me of the time I pulled up to a Del Taco, and it took so long for someone to take my order that I thought the intercom might be broken and I was about to pull forward. I don't remember how long I waited in line, but it was foreeeever. When I finally got to the window, I discovered why: There was one guy working in the whole restaurant. ONE. He'd take an order, then leave and go to the back to make the food himself, leaving no one to take orders or payments at either the drive-through window or the inside counter.
I felt so bad for him, his day must have been awful.
Early reviews raised red flags over software glitches, poor fit and finish, and disappointing range for a vehicle of its size.
That's the only sentence acknowledging the MANY mechanical failures, too.
Aren't there some big-name brands of flea medications that can cause some really nasty side effects? I was researching flea meds for my cat a few months ago and I remember people saying there was one in particular that was known for that. I picked Cheristin specifically because it had a lower risk of side effects.
Edit: I think I'm thinking of Nexgard, a google search says that one can cause seizures.
The same thing happened to me recently. I used my friend's phone to play this video in front of the camera, and it worked.
Bugsnax. It's like Pokemon Snap/Legends Arceus, but the Pokemon are food items, like a sub-sandwich centipede or a lollipop dragonfly. You can feed them to people, and when you do, their body parts turn into the food they just ate. It's great!
At least it's better than being pregananant
You know, I heard a rumor that AOC should run for president as an independent party, because she'd never make it through the Democratic primaries, but that would be a terrible idea, because it would split the party. Let's say 50% of the country is Democratic and 50% is Republican; if the Democratic vote gets split 25% for the Democrat candidate and 25% for AOC, but the Republican vote stays 50% for their candidate, then the Republicans win in a landslide. I have a feeling that this is why the two-party system is so ingrained into our politics.
But if the Republicans also split their party into MAGA and non-MAGA Republicans at the same time, then that election becomes somewhat balanced again, and probably closer to what the founding fathers actually intended. Granted, Elon isn't calling for a new party for a presidential election, just to stop this bill, but still, it'd be interesting to see an election with four viable candidates rather than two.
My favorite is that in French, you don't ask "How old are you?" "I'm 50 years old," you ask "What age do you have?" "I have 50 years."
It's like you've aged like a fine wine, versus being old and past your prime.
Right? Such a dramatic mental image. It's almost as if they want you to think of ICE as a bunch of barbaric cavemen with clubs.
No, ICE would just shoot you before you got a word out about abuse.
