About Marx and his maths, even Marx himself discussed his troubles with mathematics, he likely has what we now refer to as discalcula. Pro Russians always seem to argue this but can't give me a compelling reason why. I would argue that Russia has a lot of land to protect with a rapidly falling population. This population is expected to fall dramatically over the next 50 years. With 2.8 billion resource hungry Chinese and Indians on their doorstep that's a lot of land for the 100million or less people Russia are predicted to have by the end of the century.
