Not that I particularly want to get involved—I do also like inxi—but you can launch Info Center (kinfocenter) from krunner, the application menu, or under About this System in System Settings to get a good amount of this information and more.
Half-expected a shoe store before closer inspection, although I think I have seen this before.
Store-bought frozen pizza comes to mind (I know someone that would eat a lot of it).
It's not that they're secretive; they just do that when trying to get someone's attention without disturbing the other ones hibernating.
Not quite what you are asking, but there is little blue cart at https://littlebluecart.com/
Eh!
Kind of stuck with Discord for the moment, but I've just been using a separate Firefox profile dedicated to the service. It's nice seeing multiple accounts at once and having easy access to extensions.
DuckDuckGo has the concept of predefined bangs, in which a search prepended by a bang—a !, followed by one or more letters or characters and a space—redirects a search to another site. Some other sites have adopted the concept. More information can be found at https://duckduckgo.com/bangs.
[EDIT] !g and !w will take you to Google and Wikipedia, respectively.
"Tanked" might be a better word in this case. "Snowballed" refers to the forming of and accumulation of snow into a ball. Example: If you are having trouble concentrating, you can start small and try to get your concentration to build and "snowball" from there, at which point it will become significantly easier to build on it. If successful, your concentration can be said to have "snowballed."
I worry less about the service breaking, changing, or otherwise disappearing, over a random website.
EDIT: Also what was said in a sibling comment.
#!/usr/bin/sh
dig -4 +short @resolver2.opendns.com myip.opendns.com
#!/usr/bin/pwsh
Resolve-DnsName -Server resolver2.opendns.com -Name myip.opendns.com -Type A | % { echo $_.IPAddress }
There should be an IPv6 resolver, but I don't remember and am currently unable to test. My PowerShell skills are also effectively non-existent.
Yeah, this is what I do. Only wish mobile had the option.
Took a look and the layout seems to have hyphen and en dash—default—for Alt Gr + - and Alt Gr + Shift + -, respectively, on both my regular layout and the German layout on my machine (added the German layout just to check). I wound up using the compose sequence of three dashes, but would prefer something with fewer strokes (and may do something about it—maybe).
dig -6 +short @resolver2.opendns.com myip.opendns.com AAAA
Note: You have to ensure you are actually contacting the server with IPv6.
For anyone else reading, I stupidly deleted my comment where I asked more-or-less the following (sorry):
This might be a stupid question, as I am unfamiliar with GUIX/Nix and am unlikely to be able to help, but what happens when you try to run LXQt from the CLI?
thanks for using Leebra!
