I dont understand how and why is the phone involved in this check. I assume its a link to a website that authenticates you (probably google), but why not open it in the browser its alread at? Like what recaptcha was already doing for the past decade?
Im so confused
Being an ad-driven company annihilated old google. Instead of developing precise and efficient tools (like they used to) all effort goes to convincing users to care about random crap, because the crapmaker is paying up.
As a programmer who enjoys a beautiful solution to a hard problem, this irks me every time I'm forced to interface with google.
Setting aside freedom of speech (as UK already did) why would you raid a suspect in a nonviolent crime with no material evidence to seize? Why not just send a summons?
Though I can answer my own question: state terror campaign to scare population into submission
Give cyclists lanes, so they wouldn't have to stand in a half metre gap between an 18-wheeler and a traffic barrier covered in mix of 19th century soot and souls of the damned. Then they'll follow the rules, case in point: entire Denmark.
What happens in UK is so much sadder because the left party is in power (at least 'the left' one of the two). Makes me feel hopeless, like all paths lead to totalitarianism.
yes I'm very upset over text only smut wdym
Did you know about Felicia, the ferret who cleaned particle colliders?
In the 70s there were building another one of those roundy rounds for atoms to smash, which is mostly just long and narrow metal tube (like hundreds of meters). And these tubes would accumulate small bits of dust metal and other trash inside that would ruin the whole shebang.
So how do you clean a long and narrow science tunnel? You buy a ferret, give her a brush collar, she crawls around exploring without getting stuck even once, you pay her in food and let local nerds take her home for the night. 35 bucks it's a steal.
Unfortunately automation comes for us all, but dont cry that its over smile cause you have been joybaited by Felicia the particle accelerator ferret (and read more in this article)
thanks for using Leebra!
