@sopuli.xyz

Eskating cyclist, gamer and enjoyer of anime. Probably an artist. Also I code sometimes, pretty much just to mod titanfall 2 tho.

Introverted, yet I enjoy discussion to a fault.

I'd not be surprised if it was already a thing at the time.

Cases like this is why I can never bring myself to let assholes be.

If someone says something rude in a game lobby, or lemmy comment...

I will tell them off. That they call me "soft" for caring is the pinnacle of madness. I can take it, the ones I'm worried about are the ones who shouldn't have to.

If I can make even a fraction of those who engage in verbal abuse within range of me reconsider, I might save a life.

That some of the people I engage genuinely don't care, makes them subhuman. Their tragic lack of empathy would be hilarious, if it weren't lethal.

No.

Mithruns been a dungeon master before, too. And had a lot of his desires consumed. That's why hes so apathetic and unemotive. The winged lion consumes even what's left, and he stops moving entirely.

Until Laios goes up to him and starts listing off interesting things about being alive. You can't run out of desires, because there's always more things to want.

This happens at the very end of the manga.

You're right.

Burning the book in case it might offend some future reader is reasonable.

So?

Emulate.

As long as the application doesn't rely on something external like a server that no longer exists, it can always be run.

This isn't about a hardware system changing. If you can either find the original hardware or simulate it, it should run. Not just go "expiry date passed, fuck you".

You're saying it can sometimes be practically impossible. That doesn't mean it has to be theoretically and actually impossible, too.

You would not say "toistakaa paranoid" unless the music was played from a recording.

If any kind of performing is involved, the right word is "soittakkaa".

"Soittakaa paranoid" is also a finnish meme.

It's become something you shout at ALL concerts regardless of genre or band 🤣

Yup.

There's "toissapäivänä" - the other day.

"Toistuvasti", something occurring more than once.

But my favorite meaning that even native speakers are often unaware of:

Toistaa - to repeat or play back.

Toisto - repetition, playback or recording.

When talking abour media playback, you use it for the word "play".

"Nauhoitus" also means recording, but it comes from tape based media. (Nauha meaning tape)

"Toista tuo video" is not only correct if asking someone to play a video again, but it's correct the first time, since as a recording, it's already a repetition.

For example, "this button plays the video" would be "tämä nappi laittaa videon toistamaan" or "tästä voi toistaa videon".

It's really rare to actually see it used, even by native speakers. Most people use "päälle" for play. "Laita elokuva/musiikki päälle"

Any day now, I hope.

Production on S2 started right after S1. S1 was a many year project though, so it's anyones guess. They've said essentially nothing, just that it is in progress.

If you need more, that manga is excellent, and having read it in no way ruined S1 for me.

So what is it you actually wanted to add?

If you aren't bringing up practical difficulty to argue in favor of theoretical impossibility, what are you adding?

How is difficulty relevant in the face of the importance of preservation?

As for python... What?

Why would you emulate for python, when what actually happens is that new interpreters get written? It already runs across several operating systems and processing architectures thanks to interpreters existing for each one.

Python isn't some hobby language anymore. Far too much serious infrastructure uses it for future interpreters not to get made.

Pretty typical for a compact bike with wheels smaller than 26" tires. Aside from the weird extra tubes below the water bottle. Usually you see this layout with folding bikes, but there a compact frames without the joints to fold, too.

If this actually worked, the rich wouldn't be trying to sell AI to the poor. They'd keep it to themselves.

Hell yes.

It's fucking open source, this is no different from games with intrusive anti-cheat refusing to run on Linux, except in this case it's not even a different OS.

It's monopolistic and anti-user.
