Excellent post! I know I can't switch from Reddit all at once, I was kind of booted off a few hours ago once my app stopped connecting. I anticipate it'll be a lot of fun exploring new communities here. There was a bit of a routine to checking my default subs in Reddit, being forced to change things up might help to expand my interests.

An excellent choice. Which model did you opt for?

Yeah I did. Tbh, I used reddit is fun, and the gesture system on wefwef is a little confusing.

I'm really fucking sad about rif :(

Testing reply from wefwef. What a strange way to run an App!

Blep :)

Yae Miko is bae.

High Tier Damage Dealer Autocannon

Same. Lots of games to pay attention too, so little time to actually do it.

Silk Song can't come soon enough!

This 100%. Until there are enough people, you can usually just play things fast and loose.

Is wefwef an android or iOS app? I'm using jerboa, but heard about the virtues of wefwef and wanted to try it.

Did someone say free primos?

Is there a user guide to Lemmy?

I'd be in for that. The momentum of reddit is it's main draw right?

This cat is absolutely too lazy for their own good. Still, looks pretty comfy!

It left such a bad taste in my mouth realizing that they were absolutely just going to let people get their rage out, and then rely on the good ole human nature of just going with the flow. I mean realistically, once you have the momentum of a site like Reddit, you can do some pretty shitty stuff, and not get canned for it. I'm fairly certain they're just going to rely on that, and then make money on what's left after that.

I'll probably still keep using old.reddit.com, but making an account on Lemmy has like 0 opportunity cost, so why not right?
