I use it also some times but that is online ai and everything you use it for goes to someones servers so its not private. Alpaca is using ollama to run ai localy on your machine so everything you use it for is private. So those two are completly diferent and are not for comparing which one is easier to use because ease of use is not the point here. Privacy is.

Didnt know that ollama is sharing data with facebook.. Why would it do something like that? Wouldnt that be oposite of what it was created for and that is privacy.. Where did you get that info?

So it doesnt have anything with ollama softvare, you can download any llm it doesnt have to be metas..

I didnt know that ollama was built by meta, where did you find that out? Its also an open source project it shouldnt have malicios code like that..

Second opcion looks like exactly that..

Thats the autput i took a picture of the code with iphone and copied the text from that picture since i dont know how to transfer the autput with no internet connection 😣 Hope “copy text from image” opcion didnt corupt some part of the text. Also its desktop pc its not laptop.

Im not sure how that works. Is it the structure or simply the place. Meaby they are spawning in that place no metter if you destroy structure or not. It would be interesting experiment to see, but meaby its easier to simply get answer from someone that knows the source code of the game. And also since its open source i understand that anyone could teoreticly search for that part in the code and figure out how spawning works.

But if you want to stop them there is one thing that comes to mind. Mobs cant spawn on slabs or carpet, basicly anything that is not full block.. So if you showel the grass they also wont be able to spawn on that. I would just place slabs around it. You can make it look nice if you want.

So i gues ten blocks in any direction of the tower would be enough, meaby more, idk. But thats what i would do.

Alpaca doesnt use internet conection, you download llm and thats what you are using completly offline 🙂 Actualy its the same when you use online service, because thats what they are doing, they let you use some old llm that was trained 2 years ago and have no up do date info. Just ask simple question like what is curent presidnet of us and you will see that it doesnt have any idea.. But this way you are at least preserving your privacy. I dont want them to save my conversacions and to sell them to some other company who will sell it to some other and in the end it will end up in governmant hands.. And who knows whose also..

Tnx you are welcome :)))

Thank you wery much thats what i need definitly!

Tnx wery much, thats what i wanted to know. Whats the isue and what is better wifi card for linux since this one looked like bad opcion for compatability, even i could conclude that. XD

narutouzumaki@pop-os: ~$ sudo Ispci

When he sas “lan” he means to play with someone that is conected to same wifi as you. Basicly with someone who is connected to your home internet.

Yea good point.

I was enough of it and i called one friend to drill the hole and make cable connection finaly so its all good now. But i want to have wifi just in case because you newer know. So the list of well suported wifi cards will be of great help. And i was curios what was the problem at first place anyway.. Thank you all for help, you are the best. <3

This update is great and im realy glad new people are working on the game. Maps and cartography table were something that i wanted most to be updated and to be able to make great world map. 😀

But as much as i couldnt beleave my eyes when i saw that cartography table was updated i was soon desapointed to find out that they are not working as they should, and therefore purpose is kind of missed.

First, maps need to be able to be zoomed out more like they are in minecraft, and second they must not owerlap. In minecraft ewery map (we are talking about most zoomed out ones) has its own big sqyare. So if you stand somwhere and make map it will be map of that one big sqare that you are standing in, and if you want to make diferent map you need to go to the border of that square, cross it so you get out of that sqare and basicly enter the next one, and than when you make a map it will be the map of that next sqare. So when you put those two maps next to eachother they perfectly mach and extend one another. And thats how you make world map that can be big as much as you want.

But in voxelibre unfortinatly they dont work the same way. When you make a map it simply puts you in the centar of the map ewery time and drws the eria around you. So if you move in some direction and make another map it will be part of the first map and part of some new eria. Thats why that map will not mach with the first one in any way, so if you put them next to eachother they will not extend. Therefore you cant make large world map which is the point of whole thing..

If you want them to extend perfectly you would need to count exact posicion and count perfect number of blocks to mach them which noone will do realisticly..

But now that im thinking about it if i can count just once how many blocks it draws on the map from center to the edge than it would be simple math on calculator to count exact block that i need to stend on when creating next map to make tham extend perfectly. And i dont need to count in the world to find that block i can just use the f5 menu to see when i run into that exact block. So meaby it isnt imposible to make world map in this way. But nonthelast i think it should work diferently and maps should be bigger when zoomed out to the max. This update is great and i love it, just wanted to point that out. And i hope new update comes soon to change that, and to make maps even greater. 🙂

Hm thats wery interesting and new to me, didnt know something like that exists. Thank you.

Yea but you realise that this is not Minecraft we are talking about..? This is Voxe libre it could have diferent mechanic from Minecraft.
