At this point I’d take the malicious compliance route. Make sure you have it documented in a form of writing that shows he is refusing to upgrade his system. Send him an email confirming you the new laptop on standby and would like to know when he’d like to swap it out, he’ll obviously tell you to pound sand. If anything happens, it’s not on you. If you’re worried about getting fired, then it’s not worth it to pursue.

They are just upset this woman suspected a cis girl was trans. If the girl were actually trans, I doubt they’d have any problems with her comments.

Congratulations!!!! It’s a long and difficult journey of self discovery, but the pay off in the end is amazing.

One word of advice that took me years to realize but really changed everything once I did … Do whatever it takes to feel good about YOU and do not let the outside forces influence or discourage you. YOU need to do what makes YOU happy and it’s no one else’s fucking business.

I’m glad you haven’t been subjected to the posts in the communities you subscribe to like I have. In hindsight, I now see how this post is counterproductive -_-

Not a sales person, but a former technician who is now a product owner and deals with this daily.

Your role is to find the best product that meets your requirements during your RFP. If products B and C are comparable or better than product A, a good procurement team can negotiate pricing. Also, nothing is a done deal until the MSA and SOWs are agreed to and signed. I’ve had a situation where product A would fall through due to legal disagreements, so we went with product B.

During my last RFP when we were releasing a vendor towards the end, they came back with a counter proposal that gave us the first 6-months of a 36-month contract for free, bringing the price to be competitive with the other vendors.

Let the process play out. Your role is to help choose the best product for the company, it’s your purchasing team role to handle the money aspect. These B2B reps understand this process too and are happy as long as you’re still engaging with them at least.

Know this isn’t the answer/perspective you were searching for, but I felt the same as you during my first RFP and felt bad for the vendors. Now they’ve become great network opportunities and I have more future job prospects lined up in the event I’m ready to make a move.

Especially when my SAMPLES are there too. Had it happen yesterday when they call in extraction so I had no time to run back and get them.

Downloading it on my Deck now and can’t wait to see how it plays! They said FSR2 is coming soon, so hoping that’ll help with performance.

He posted it in !piracy as well and they seemed to be taking the bait. I hope admins end up banning him soon.

By that logic anything that doesn’t emit 100% cleanly should be banned from use then … cars, power plants, manufacturing plants, etc.

You have a right to avoid a smoker just as much as they have a right to be in that public place.

Yes, it’s a hefty device, but it’s never been at the forefront of my thoughts when using the device. I’ve never experienced weight related fatigue during a play session with the Deck. That includes playing CP 2077 for a 6 hour session today.

For what the game is, $15 is a low cost of entry. So far it’s been well supported/regularly updated title and I don’t see that changing any time soon. If you’re looking for a fresh FPS experience, give it a go, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Good, my Steam Deck will greatly appreciate it!

Then you could have easily posted that information directly in a post here. You didn’t create an account two hours ago just to share this information, you’re plugging Flibbar just like CertifedGTA was.

I see through the bullshit buddy.

Just picked it up and it plays wonderfully on the Deck right out the gate. Nice little game I can fire up when I need a 20-30 minute break.

Interesting. Could I take that Steam Deck variant and use it on my desktop to create SteamOS console experience?

Let’s go Magic!!! Hopefully we can get a playoff win on the road.

I have yet to pick up a PS5, but when I do, GT7 is the first game I’m picking up! What are you enjoying the most from it?

Get that shit out of here. Nobody wants that garbage site on Lemmy. I’m not going to trust a brand new site with 9 members (last I checked) to pirate a game.
