I can't believe that this is how I find the most pedagogical counterexample I've ever seen to true justified belief being knowledge hahaha

Not sure if Portugal is the type of European country you imagine, but last month on a train I sat one row ahead of a child that would excidetly exclaim "another train!" (in Portuguese) every time one passed outside the window. Adorable!
"inefficient", yet consume much less energy than planes for the same route. You seem to be using a very odd definition of efficiency!
Wow, the way the last line is such a sudden tone change from the other ones reeeeeally got me
Speed Racer (2008)! The Wachowski sisters directed it after the Matrix trilogy, and the silly and over-the-top aesthetics seem to have put of many, but I think it's a genuinely fun movie with great themes and some awesome emotional moments.
To be fair, "game of the year" feels like it's meant to measure popularity, while "most innovative" sounds like it shouls measure how innovative a game is, which is perhaps why the two awards get such different reactions.
Are you sure it wasn't "brzeczyszczykiewicz" (difference in last two letters)? Otherwise it seems like a little typo, which, to be fair, would be a good idea to keep it safe from Polish people haha
You seem to imply that carbon offsets actually work, and while I've heard some do, I also had the impression that most don't
I'm not saying that it is straightforward or that you don't have a point about the complexity, but something being entertaining and addictive really should not be conflated! You might spend tonnes of time on something because you genuinely enjoy it, but you can also spend tonnes of time on something addictive without enjoying it. Arguing that things are only addictive if they're good is a gross misrepresentation of reality
Indonesian is red at the top while Polish is red at the bottom, so the flag is Polish for sure!
Interesting that you read it a bit differently than me, I interpreted it as he means that he'll for sure pass away but hides it from his child, so I found it touching and quite sad because it's a lie about a much more serious thing than all the other lies!
Thanks, it indeed says driver=nvidia!
I started swaying towards defederating after reading this article, maybe you'd like to take a look and see what you think? It argues much better than I ever could.
I just wanted to add that it's also really stupid to claim that "consumers chose thing" because companies did it since they found it more profitable. Companies do many things people don't actively want (or even dislike) for profit.
You sure seem to be right about the broader definition! But legal or not, it still seems absolutely crazy to classify this type of property damage as terrorism to me... I have a hard time to see how to justify that beyond, of course, the technicalities of the definition in the UK
Haha I'm scared of sounding like I don't like high speed rail, which I do! I love trains in general, I'm interrailing right now! Buuut I felt this was a relevant place to link this fascinating article (slightly click-baity headline) about how high speed rail in Europe is actually not constructed in a very good way, because it ends up eliminating many of the positive sides with the European railway network: https://solar.lowtechmagazine.com/...
Edit: fixed typo
Yeah exactly, every time I bring this up (yes I'm definitely fun at parties, why do you ask?) I struggle to remember the details of the story and then once I do recall it, observe how the person in telling it to is swiftly becoming more confused by the second haha
I've heard that League is usually problematic on Linux, but it's not a deal breaker, my computer is dual booted anyway so I could always play it on Windows.
All the games, League aside, are purchased through Steam. I have only tried these games I mention, since they are the only games I've been playing since I set up my Linux partition, but since not a single one of them worked at all I have assumed that's it's probably not the games that are the problem.
Nvidia-smi confirms I'm using 545.29.06. About Vulkan though, i l noticed now that when I launch Steam through the terminal it says "unable to enumerate GPUs with Vulkan" and "Unable to initialize Vulkan". Could maybe that be the source of the issue then? Thanks a lot for your help either way!
thanks for using Leebra!
