I have Connect, and Voyager as a backup. I prefer Connect. It sounds like a few people here dig Summit; is it better than Connect, and if so, how?

The Lowes near me does the same. Their only job seems to be trying to sell a shitty credit card, and I guess making sure nobody steals shit?

But yeah, it feels like they put in self checkout to save money on labor, then lost money to theft, so now they pay people to just watch you do self checkout instead of having them do the checkout like they were doing in the first place.

No, they're anti anti Nazis, and therefore anti antifa. In other words, they're profa. Man, if only it were clear what fa were. /s

I'll never remember to cancel before the trial runs out.

Yeah, they're counting on that for their whole business model. It's intentionally predatory.

Prove to me that he's not already a king. He suffers zero consequences and solely controls every aspect of the federal government. He is what a 6 year old thinks the president is.

Persecution complex on full display. What a fucking embarrassment. I wish him the absolute worst. He's certainly in the top ten list of worst human beings to have ever lived, and we let him become US president. I don't think enough Americans are aware of the lasting damage being incurred, or the path towards actual collapse we're bumbling down.

Only the dumbest dictator imaginable would flex military strength while not paying them, keep them doing their jobs without pay, and then say that they will never get paid for the work they're currently doing. A dictator should be scared shitless about the possibility of their own military warming up to the idea of regime change, especially this specific military which has a whole lot of experience carrying out regime changes.

I seem to recall him claiming that he would get gas under $2/gallon. Where are we at on that?

Gas prices aren't my primary concern. I've hated him for years for better reasons, but gas prices seems to be the only thing that is waking his supporters up.

It's really more that they're trying to "extort" him into not raising premiums. The Democrats aren't trying to strongarm reduced prices; they're trying to stop price gouging.

On a longer timeline, they're "extorting" him into not killing a few million people. And he's throwing a temper tantrum and refusing to allow anybody to get in the way of this easily preventable mass death.

Even if a person is so heartless that they don't give a shit about that and only cares about money, that's gonna lead to fewer workers, fewer purchasers of goods and services, and less free time to enjoy purchases. So even the inhuman sludge monsters of capitalism should see that this is gonna be bad for business and be against this. There's literally zero benefit to doing this if you look beyond the current financial quarter unless your goal is to destroy the country and hurt people.

It's like shitting diarrhea all over the birthday cake so it can all be yours, but it's your own fucking birthday party. The art of the deal.

I'm skeptical. They couldn't find the shooter. Then they found a bag that looked like his, filled with monopoly money (no weapon). Then somebody at a McDonald's calls because Luigi kinda looks like the guy. Luigi decides to hang out and eat his shitty fast food at a leisurely pace. Cops show up and supposedly find the weapon on him.

I think it's more likely that they found the weapon with the bag, but opted to keep that quiet so they could plant it on whoever they grabbed. If Luigi is the shooter, and he still had the gun when he left NY, then why the fuck wouldn't he have tossed it into a random river along the way? Wasn't it a "ghost gun" that he could easily dispose of and not have traced back to him? Wasn't that the point of it? Isn't that why it would've made sense to leave it with the bag?

The job of the jury is to either find the defendant guilty beyond a reasonable doubt or let him go free. I have reasonable doubt. I'm not sure what evidence they're gonna reveal that will convince me, but I'm also not gonna be selected for that jury. I just don't believe in ruining the entire life of somebody whose only provable crime was that he enjoyed McDonald's in Altoona.

Seems like a regular hat theory to me. Seems like an obvious pipeline from his Miss Teen USA beauty pageants to "industry opportunities" like modeling or access to good agents, and then "I've pulled some strings for you and I've got you an invitation to an exclusive party full of important people you'll really benefit from meeting. Just wear this little thing and be one of many pretty girls in the room, enjoying a private party. Show how fun you can be, and then the way will be paved for you. Trust me, I know how these things work. The best thing that can happen for your future is that one of these guys asks to talk privately with you in a room in the back. Just go along with it."

I would be very surprised if there were evidence that this isn't what was happening.

Yeah, but she's right though. Gaston is psyched to be the biggest fish in their small pond town. Belle wants to be in a bigger pond. She aspires and yearns for more than her little town can ever offer her while everybody else is content to just exist as is. Gaston might not even be literate, yet he has the respect and adoration of pretty much everybody in town. Everybody thinks she's a fucking weirdo for reading books. She and her father are the town pariahs for growing brains, so it's kinda wild to criticize them for wanting something better than a town full of people who shit on them while worshipping a dumbass prettyboy.

ā€œI wasn’t served well by the people that pick judges,ā€ Trump vented Saturday.

Motherfucker, you pick judges. Either you regret your own pick or you're admitting that you're just a rubber stamp for whoever is actually making the decisions. You either don't know what the fuck is going on (definitely true) or you're projecting with the Biden autopen jabs (probably true) or both (the most likely full picture here).

A shitload of people fell for the most obvious grifts of the stupidest, most famous conman ever. He used their bigotry to get the power to chop up the country and sell it for parts, and the fascism is just a side effect for him. He doesn't care about anything but how much gold he can surround himself with, and he'll do anything to pump up his supply of gold. He's stupid, American goldmember.
