An die Öffi-Hater: Ich hab Arbeitskollegen, die kommen locker auf € 500 den Monat, tatsächliche Kosten. Man frage sich, warum die nicht mit dem Zug ins Büro kommen, bzw. warum die überhaupt jeden Tag ins Büro wollen. Zum Teil sind deren Zugverbindungen eh schneller, aber dann müsste man ja erste Klasse lösen, "in der Zweiten setz ich mich sicher nicht hin".

Hier in der Schweiz hab ich kürzlich Black November gesehen. Irgendwie macht das doch auch als Geschäft gar keinen Sinn mehr. Kein Reiz, schnell zu agieren und jeder weis bescheid, niemals ist das deutlich günstiger als sonst.

Ich finde, man könnte dementsprechend Jahreszeiten-basierte Preise machen. Green spring: Alle Produkte sind überall um 10% teurer aber 10% rabattiert. Red Summer: Alles ist 3 für 2 aber 2 kosten so viel wie sonst 3. Orange Fall: Alles ist 80% reduziert, man ist aber dazu verpflichtet 5 zu kaufen und 4 zurückzugeben. White Winter: Die Preisschilder sind einfach weiß auf weiß.

IDK man, paying for YT Premium really isn't that bad. Assuming you already consume YouTube content, that is. And I'm pretty sure that's like 98% of first world population between 4 and 70.

Blocking ads on YouTube is no sustainable solution. Hosting Billions of Gigabytes of on-demand content is SUPER expensive. Like, it actually costs money. Other, wayyy smaller indie creator on-demand video platforms charge 5 bucks a month, but i'ts okay if they do it, because they aren't big bad Alphabet.

If that's your view, you don't have a problem with pricing, you have a problem with morals. And if you still do voluntarily consume YouTube content in private, with or without ads in any which way, you inarguably have a huge problem with your own morals.

YouTube premium is a good deal. It's priced very well compared with competition, it actually does pay indie creators and it let's you access to features that many users really do use.

BUTBUT THEY ARTIFICIALLY LIMIT FEATURES FOR NO REASON WITHOUT PREMIUM. I mean, it's subscription software and streaming, what else would they do? Every for profit subscription software provider and their mother does this. I develop hospital software and we literally do exactly this. If hospital A has feature x and hospital B also wants that, we don't just hand that out for free even when we just have to add it to their system in like 10 minutes... what did you expect? They already use our software (like you use YouTube), we don't have a huge incentive to just randomly add features if nobody paid for it. Tja, naja. Auch war im Artikel vermerkt, dass unklar ist, was dazu führt, dass Helmträger mehr Unfälle haben. Tragen riskantere, schnellere, sportlichere Fahrer öfter Helm? Wahrscheinlich. Wird bei der Frage ob man einen Helm trug gelogen? Vielleicht.

Die Idee ist jedoch, dass man sich selbst als Fahrradfahrer sicherer Fühlt, wenn man Schutzausrüstung trägt. Kann ich für mich selbst bestätigen. Auch realistisch: Dritte handeln "Fahrlässiger", wenn der Radfahrer weniger verletzlich wirkt.

Fazit für mich selbst: Helm tragen und so tun als wären alle Verkehrsteilnehmer inkl. mir selbst richtig dumm.

Nö. Ein Bordstein muss ziemlich hoch und/oder steil sein um nicht überfahrbar zu sein. Solche unterbrochenen "Randsteine" bieten besseren Schutz, auch wenns nicht intuitiv ist.

Warum E-Scooter statt Fahrrad? Ich fühle mich relativ unsicher auf nem E-Scooter, besonders wenns Berg ab geht. Über 25 km/h auf dem Rad zu fahren ist auch extrem einfach erreichbar. Für die Bahn eignet sich ein Faltrad, dann darf man das auch ohne Zusatzticket kostenfrei mitführen.

I currently pay about 2 bucks a month for YouTube Premium and YouTube Music. I legally share it with people I'm close with. 30 bucks a year for unlimited ad free (other than sponsorships) is very affordable, even if I didn't share it with family and friends.

I still don't share personal information with them. They probably think I live in Argentina or something because my account is not defined to a region and my IPA reads as residential Argentina most of the time.

YouTube started as a free to use service (in terms of monetary cost). There's no way they could ever go from that to pay to use. Content creators depend on YouTube being accessible without monetary compensation through the viewer's wallet. At the same time, upkeep for on demand 4k video up- and downstreaming is not easy, not simple, not cheap. Not cheap at all. Go ask Nebula and the likes.

Ads are ineviteable. You want goods and services, you pay for them. If you don't feel like spending money, you will pay by watching ads and/or by giviny away personal information that in turn can be used to create monetary value in some form or another (better advert targeting, better market analysis, etc.).

Strategically avoiding any form of payment for goods and services is frankly immoral. It's exactly the same as stealing. It morally is stealing. If you go to the store and steal a product, you're doing the same. You cost said store money without reimbursing them by paying for it. Blocking ads and especially sponsorships is immoral and you have every right to do it as it stands. Just don't complain about companies disliking your behaviour.

Wenns nur ne rotierende Bürste sein soll, dann reicht meine 15 € OralB längstens. Die kann per Knopfdruck starten, stoppen und sogar ganz von alleine 30 Sekunden Intervalle sowie 2 Minuten per Vibration angeben. Funktioniert nach etwa 8 Jahren ganz normal. Vor ca. einem Jahr hab ich meiner Freundin so eine gekauft. Sieht genau gleich aus, funktioniert genau gleich.

Für Schallbürsten würde ich persönlich auf Panasonic oder Philips umsteigen. Meine Eltern haben seit 5 oder so Jahren ne teure Philips (war so ein 150 € Doppelpack). Die funktioniert aber auch gut... sagt mein alter Herr.

Als vegetatisch/vegane Person stimme ich rein faktisch zu. Solange Fleischkonsum die Norm ist haben wir da ein Problem. Die Kommunikation dessen ist aber schrecklich.

Das Plural ist doch nicht feminin. Der Artikel "die" umfasst mehrere Bedeutungen... spezifisch das nominative und akkusative Femininum als auch das nominative und akkusative Plural.

Beispiel: Der Arzt -> Die Ärzte.; Im Singular klar maskulin. Im Plural tatsächlich auch Maskulin, aber warum? Das Maskulinum, Femininum oder Neutrum bezieht sich nicht auf den Artikel (der, die, das, den, dem, des) sondern auf das Nomen. Der Artikel wiederum umfängt im Singular sowohl das Geschlecht als auch den Fall und im Plural nur den Fall.

Weiteres Beispiel: Dem Arzt -> Den Ärzten.; Ist jetzt beides im Neutrum? Nö... wir befinden uns einfach im Dativ. Fürs Singular im maskulinen Dativ und fürs Plural einfach nur im Dativ, da das Geschlecht des Nomens hier keinen Einfluss hat. Das Nomen an sich ist jedoch in beiden Fällen klar Maskulin (Femininum wäre Den Ärztinnen).

Um klar zu machen hier ein Beispiel im Femininum: Der Ärztin -> Der Ärztinnen.; Was ist den hier geschehen? Sind die Damen nun maskulin geworden? Ne, die sind genitiv geworden. Ein Satz dazu wäre "Die Arbeit der Ärztin(nen) ist gut."

Übrigens: Ich war mindestens 15 Jahre nicht mehr im Deutschunterricht und trotzdem fällt mir sowas nicht schwer. Deutsch ist nichtmal meine Alltagssprache... Solltest du also auch hinkriegen.

Gaming Mäuse halten IMO richtig lange. Ich hatte lange ne Zowie irgendwas Maus. Alles normale drann, 2 Seitenknöpfe, angenehme form. Die hab ich 2015 geholt, bis 2022 täglich benutzt und lebt immer noch, aber ich hab auf kabellos gewechselt. Ich brauch die nur noch fürs Büro, dort bin ich einmal die Woche. Zuhause hab ich jetzt irgendwas Pulsar. Auch die wird hauptsächlich fürs arbeiten genutzt.

So ne gaming Maus ist eigentlich auch nur ne normale Maus, die mehr kostet. Die Gamer scheinen einiges an Leistung bei den Sensoren und Knöpfen zu verlangen, deshalb wirkt die Qualität deutlich besser auf mich. Da zahl ich €60 statt €30, dafür funktioniert die auch locker mal die dreifache Zeit.

Ich hab übrigens auch ne MX Master und 2 mal MX Anywhere. Die MX Anywhere klickten beide nach nem halben Jahr doppelt. Die MX Master funktioniert noch.

WhatsApp is fine IMO. It's really just an instant messanger that does about as much as any other. In terms of privacy, WhatsApp is far from bad compared with other apps. The fact that Meta own WhatsApp doesn't really impact that too much.
