One day the USA will get a president that has more to offer than not being his opponent.

Just accept that Reddit has brain worms and move here , this is a better solution because nobody can possibly own the entire network.
Fuck Spez , I have bailed out of Reddit , it is beyond saving because structurally it is built on a flawed concept of assuming benevolent admins who work for the good of the community , and that is no longer the case , they are too far gone to be able to salvage value from that place and we are better off rebuilding better here.
The fediverse is far more open to the idea of being a "marketplace of ideas" .
That is what Reddit was before Spez got greedy and abandoned the liberal ideas that made Reddit great when Aaron Swartz was around.
As long as users from allied instances can still post it is all good.
This has been a problem for a very very long time

Most Gazans were not alive when Gaza last had an election.
Term limits for congress and the senate are also needed , make it so that you can not serve more than 2 terms in any state or federal office. This would reduce the influence of career politicians and allow fresh ideas to be tried.
This is because the Dutch local councils actually give a damn about road maintenance.
This makes electric cars less polluting with every passing day as this percentage increases.
That can be difficult in a small town where the only supermarket is supplied exclusively by a wholesaler who has a deal with Nestle. And ordering candy from Amazon will just mean you get melted and/or spoiled chocolate weeks after you order.
Ronald Dion DeSantis, you MUST use his full legal name now.
Purging the images off social media will make it easier to deny that the atrocities ever happened. Keep them there in all their gory uglyness , perhaps put a spoiler tag over them to prevent someone with a feeble constitution from accidentally stumbling onto them and accidentally being triggered , but leave them there as evidence of the evil that happened.
There is also a danger that the kill switch command could be leaked to the Russians or the Chinese who would use it to shut down the USA's defenses just before a full scale invasion of a now defenseless USA.
One thing we need to break into a billion tiny dust like pieces is the idea of "Super Moderators" who control hundreds of different boards . This idea lead to the group think that infected Reddit , because when a "Super Moderator" succumbs being prejudiced then it can effect the entire site , either directly on sites the now abusive "Super Moderator" deletes all posts that challenge their prejudices , or indirectly via a chilling effect when the abusive "Super Moderator" bans people from ALL of the subreddits they control, just for interacting with subreddits they disagree with , regardless of the content of those interactions , and with zero hope for appeal since any attempt at communication will be met with silence and a mute.
The Fediverse feels a lot like the old Reddit from 10+ years ago , but I suspect that once it becomes mainstream the shills and bots will move in and ruin it like they ruined Reddit.
Crunch is not exactly a problem if you can write a few simple programs to take care of it.
Use public key encryption programs like Open PGP or GNU Privacy Guard.
BUT you will want a program that is under active community development which releases regular updates to address any weaknesses or flaws as soon as they are developed , and ideally you want to be able to hand a copy to all trusted people you would like to securely communicate with.
This is worthy of an Austin Powers sketch.
thanks for using Leebra!
